The store is amazing and most of the staff I dealt with have been as well. However, I must say that I am terribly disappointed with how one clerk dealt with an equipment issue I had. Less than 18 months after purchase, the handle on the VA-5 video head I bought as part of their DOF scope package came loose, because the alu threading on the head had gotten completely worn out. (this, despite me having been treating it like a baby - tightening and loosening the bolt carefully, folding handle away for transport, etc)
The clerk inspected it and decided that the damage to the thread must have been caused by 'misuse' (based on ...he couldn't say except to point out that it is not an issue he had seen before) After some civilized back and forth, he basically shrugged, advised me to see 'a repair shop'.

For a kit that cost me around 10k, I expected some level of support. When the Nikon Monarch binocular I bought at Photo C had an issue with misaligned prisms, the rep took them back without hesitation and the repair was made. With Naturbutikken, it seems that any uncommon failure can potentially be dismissed as being your fault and no spare parts are available, even if I wanted to buy one.
