Can't fault my instructor Paul Bellehewe! He's nothing but amazing! Handled my anxiety about driving fantastically. With Paul's help I managed to pass my test second time with only 2 faults. Would 100% recommend.

Couldn’t recommend nayland driving school anymore, Paul is one of the friendliest and understanding instructor. Always positive and excellent teacher. Passed 2nd time with 2 minors.

I would highly recommend Paul. He was always understanding and explained everything. He was patient with mistakes and never appeared stressed. I passed 3rd time and he was always positive before and after each test.

Paul Bellehewe has been nothing short of brilliant. I'm a naturally anxious individual and Paul took me from never driving to feeling calm and confident on the road. It took me 4 attempts to pass my test but I got there in the end, and Paul was there for the entire journey. Absolutely cannot recommend him enough!

I would highly recommend learning to drive with Iain. He was always very helpful and supportive helping me to pass first time. Very friendly guy and always had great fun on lessons!

Very grateful to driving instructor Andy Orlowski for the time and commitment he gave teaching my son to drive. My son passed first time and was extremely well prepared for his test thanks to Andy.

Will defo recommend! Had my lessons with Ian for quite a few months and i passed first time with only a few minors ! He is excellent at teaching learners and very awesome and of course very helpful, always had great lessons with him :)

My daughter had several lessons with Andy orlowski, having after having lessons in London but unable to get a local test. He was incredibly experienced, thourogh and knew the test requirements. He fitted in intensive lessons whilst we were staying with relatives nearby. She had a very unfortunate accident during her due to no fault of her own, during her driving test when a lorry damaged the front of the car whilst she was stationary at a junction. He was remarkably calm about the situation, and very accommodating regarding getting addition lessons in and rescheduling the test.

I would highly recommend him as an instructor, I feel that he was more dedicated than her London driving school.

Iain is an outstanding instructor who helped me pass first time! He was friendly and supportive in every lesson we had together and is an excellent teacher, giving thorough and clear explanations. I had picked up a lot of bad driving habits during covid which Iain helped sort out and fix within a couple of lessons. I will be recommending him to anyone I know who needs lessons in the future.

Paul Bellehewe was my driving instructor and I highly recommend him. I was a super anxious driver with zero experience and after six months of lessons with Paul, I passed first time! He really understands that everybody is different and learns at different speeds, and will really listen to you to ensure that you’re fully benefitting from his lessons. Thanks Paul!

Andy is fantastic!! As a slightly nervous driver Andy was amazing at keeping me calm and at ease and explained things in a way that made it all seem so simple. He provided videos and help guides so I could look at driving from a different perspective outside of lessons which helped immensely and I know Colchester like the back of my hand now!
He was always so patient and really took the time to help me through any situation; no matter how stressful. In the run up to my test he went above and beyond to fit in extra lessons when needed and doing mock tests so I knew what to expect. I couldn’t have felt more prepared than I did and the test ended up being a breeze!
Having the option of motorway and multi-storey car park lessons post-passing has really taken the pressure off being a new driver and I can’t thank him enough for his patience, time and help. The only driving instructor you’ll ever need!!!!

Here's the deal.

I'm not a confident person and meeting new people is scary. Sitting in a car with a stranger, driving on the road with other drivers, it can make a person feel vulnerable. However, Andy made me feel really comfortable throughout our lessons. His patience, encouragement and humour made the lessons not only affective, but enjoyable!

Look, you can tell when someone cares. Andy actually cares. You're not just a student, you feel like a friend. Andy would text me randomly throughout the week with thoughts and links to videos, which a person doesn't do unless they actually care. That's rare.

I passed with 1 minor. Couldn't be happier.

Patient, respectful, good mate, great for people with low confidence and are a bit scared to start learning.

I would 100% recommend Nayland Driving School. Paul is an amazing driving instructor, who was very patient with me, but also made driving lessons enjoyable :)

I had Andy as a driving instructor and passed first time! Andy gave me the confidence and reassurance i needed to pass. He constantly pushed me and made driving more simple for me! He also made me feel proud of myself after every lesson no matter how it went:)

Paul is an amazing driving instructor who is friendly and has lots of patience. I passed first time with Paul with 22 hours of learning. I would recommend him to anyone learning to drive as I always felt comfortable with him teaching!

With Iain as my instructor I passed today!! Iain was so good to me, he’s really happy and friendly made me feel at ease from the get go. We got on so well that I never dreaded the lessons, he would go out of his way to make time for me around my schedule and to make sure I felt test ready; by also focusing on my weak spots and explaining in different ways until I understood. He really cares about his students and genuinely wants them to pass :)

Yesterday, I PASSED my driving test first time with NO Minors!!! Without Sally’s support this would not have been possible! In all of my driving lessons Sally made sure that I understood everything she explained, and anything I was doubtful about, she always planned to practise these things until I was confident. Sally’s friendly and calm aura always made me feel comfortable in all of my lessons. Thank you Sally!!! I couldn’t have done it without you!!!
