NP are the Landlords for my sisters…

NP are the Landlords for my sisters rental in Gloucestershire. My sister has contacted them many times, the service has been extremely poor with no regard to ongoing problems, slow to do repairs and no regard for black mould. Totally indifferent. My sister also has problems with a new neighbour who plays loud music throughout the night. This has been reported to Environmental Health. NPs response was to tell her not to ring them! Environmental Health are now involved after 3 reported incidents. My sister is partially disabled and very vulnerable. Did NP check the new neighbours references. Please do your job as Landlords and protect the tenants

Toby at Naylor Powell

I recently had the privilege to work with the team at Naylor Powell and had a great experience throughout the process. Specifically worked with Toby throughout the process, who was always approachable, knowledgeable, professional, and quick to respond and follow up to any queries I had.

Communication was excellent from start to finish, and he helped make what could have been a stressful process feel much smoother and more manageable. I really appreciated the support and guidance throughout the purchase.

Thanks again Toby and the rest of team at Naylor Powell.

Let us move into a house in Redmarley…

Let us move into a house in Redmarley which had thousands of cluster flies, beetles and god knows what else, was promised the house was going to be deep cleaned and painted before we moved in but it didn’t, had to pay for pest control, cleaners and steam cleaners.. painted all the walls because they were filthy, it was a landlord managed property so Naylor Powell completely washed their hands with us told us we had to tell the landlords and they wouldn’t reply to us. Couldn’t live there for 4 months of the year because of pests… when we left we made the house spotless the estate agent confirmed the house was very clean but our landlords still went on to try take our deposit, estate agents wouldn’t get involved with the deposit agency or help or back us up. Worst experience ever and it has put me off ever renting again.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Attempted to secure a letting them and, after being strung along for 2 weeks, I was told I was ineligible all due to an error in their computer systems.

LIES LIES AND MORE LIES TO VUNERABLE PEOPLE

Dear People
I am a very vulnerable person and the way Naylor Powell have treated me should be illegal but its not, once again its a letting agent that thrives at the lack of regulation in this industry, they can treat vulnerable people as appallingly as you can imagine and they can get away with it. They have no moral compass and they don’t give a foof about tenants regardless of their capability. Just when you think your last letting agent was the worst in the world, there comes along another champion called Naylor Powell. If you’re a tenant runs for the hills, they lie and lie and lie and lie, catch my drift. They love evictions as it means more fees for them. Everything is done in the landlords favour not the tenants.
I am now evicted and homeless and thank god I now have nothing to do with this bunch of Arfur Daleys, im sure Naylor Powell will be revelling in the profits.
Recently I send Marc Fox a load of pictures regarding the current condition of the garden, he told me in writing that I don’t need to touch the garden and im not expected to make improvements on the garden. I did what he suggested, after all he is the property manager and the Final Inspector too. Now what a pile of lies, the landlord is asking for £150 towards her tidying the garden. I did what Marc Fox told me now the landlord is trying to rip me off and Marx Fox is letting it happen.
I had previously been evicted by my last landlord, when I viewed THE house that I rented Chealsea Searle told me that would not happen this time and the landlord would not sell and evict me. What a pile of rubbish and lies, 4 months later I get an eviction notice, lies lies lies. I was used to fill a gap from the landlords attempt to sell it ‘to’ wanting to put it back on the market. They did not tell me this at the viewing that the landlord has previously tried to sell the house before renting it to me. I have severe mental health problems and they put me through this legal stuff yet again. I was evicted again and im now homeless. I have no job, I have no money, I am homeless and I have severe mental health problems.

Marc Fox is a lying disgrace as property manager, he could not spell his name let along spell professionalism, maybe he could spell lies as he is an expert at it.
TDS insists when you open a dispute that you have tried to negotiate with the landlord and letting agent, they are all refusing, they are forcing me to dispute and lie to TDS that I have tried to negotiate.
Naylor Powell are taking the interest money from my deposit but they are not following the guidelines’ or handing the final inspection independently or professionally.

When I left the property on 08-08 Marc Fox told me to my face at the doorstep, ‘I will recommend to the landlord that your full deposit be returned to you asap and I don’t see why it won’t. This is more lies. They are withholding money off me for the rear garden which was an abysmal mess before I moved in but the landlord want £150 because it’s a tad more overgrown than it was before. Marc Fox is certainly not in my corner like he was when he was talking to my face. They are trying to claim money for things that are not even in the final report, plus these are things that the landlord is responsible for not me.
I would love to say what these people really are, and Mr Birt the owner is just as bad. I won’t say what I really think as it won’t get published.
I have [proof of everything but they still insist in putting a vulnerable person through all this, I just want my full deposit back but it looks like I have to fight this in the TDS dispute scheme. The landlords is being spiteful and withholding my money and Marc Fox is ignoring the TDS guidelines and telling me the landlord is refusing to negotiate. So why has he changed his tune after talking to me at the property? Back stabbing bar stewards.
Another thing worth mentioning, when I received the eviction notice, they added the court fees to my account even though the judge had not made any ruling on the fees, I went crazy and gave mr Fox a lot of abuse, He told me I would have to pay the court fees, when I asked for the legislation that says this he backed down and removed the court fees from my account. The judge ruled that I did not have to pay the court fees. So Marc Fox would like to claim they do everything by the book, this is more lies, this was another illegal MOVE.
Tenants avoid these guys like the plague, landlords will probably love these guys, they will love the landlords as they only care about making money and charging fees. Scamming and ripping off poor tenants is a daily process for these people.

Regards
Robert

Naylor Powell Newent Sales One Word Excellent

I was one of those people that always wondered why you needed an estate agent, surely you can just do it yourself. For anyone else wondering….no you absolutely can’t!!!

From the moment we met Adam we knew we had made the right decision. Adam and the whole team went to great lengths to learn about our property. We had 28 viewings and 4 asking price offers due to their amazing marketing and attention to detail on our listing and our viewings.

When we lost our first buyer due to their circumstances changing, Scott rang round and found us a new buyer almost immediately ensuring we didn’t loose the purchase of our new house.

Towards the end of our sale the bottom of the chain and their conveyancer were being very difficult looking for 20 year old planning documents. Adam got involved and tried to find them, and rang the Estate Agents in the chain and the solicitors, suggested indemnity insurance and got the chain unstuck. He rang and chased people over and over and he took my calls every day and rang me all the time keeping me updated and calming me down. In my mind he and Naylor Powell are the reason we finally got to exchange and sold our house and it would never have happened without them.

I cannot recommend Naylor Powell in Newent enough, the personal service, excellent communications and professionalism is way beyond anything I expected. Buying a house is a very stressful life event and you will not regret having Adam and the team by your side throughout, championing your cause and providing free counselling when the going gets tough!

Good all round service

We have dealt with Naylor Powell Stonehouse several times now, both buying and selling through them. Each time there has been a change in staff members but they have all been great to deal with. This time we dealt with Ruth, Jasmine and Ronan. They are always friendly but also get the job done. Communication has been positive, keeping us updated where necessary. We would have no hesitation recommending Ruth and the team at Naylor Powell Stonehouse.
