Extremely poor service!

Order number F1003166. Order number F1003166. Extremely poor service! They didn't want to let me on the bus as the company did not provide any information to the carriers. I had to wait more than an hour at the hotel before I got my room. I paid for everything, but no one informed the hotel that such an order existed. Why am I paying money and still being made to wait? Never purchase a vacation through this agency - they are thieves and scammers! poor service! They didn't want to let me on the bus as the company did not provide any information to the carriers. Golden 5 Al Mas/ Crystal Beach Resort Hurghada

Booked a stay at Golden 5 Al Mas resort 5 star hotel. Got sent to Crystal Beach Resort (same place, but another hotel at a supposedly big resort area). Apparently the Golden 5 Al Mas had been closed for 5-6 years.... About 4/5 og the hotels resorts area had been closed and looked like a ghost town. The pictured features when looking at the hotel before booking, where very different in reality and not for the better.
Neckermann also made a "mistake" in the booking to the hotel. In my booking we were 3 adults and 1 child, but they informed the hotel that we supposedly was 1 adult and 3 children. When booking all-inclusive there is off course af price difference. We sat at the hotel after arrival for almost 6 hours because the hotel wouldn't give us our room unless we payed a deposit of 100 euro PER NIGHT until the booking was sorted out. It took Neckermann 3 days to fix the mistake and me a ekstra phone bill of 310 euro and 20 euro in bank fees... And completely ruined our first 4-5 days. After that we had to fight with the hotel to fix the AC, on day 6 we ended up having to repack everything and change rooms.
The pools water was unclear, found cigarets, cotton, paper, tiles from the pool and all other fun things in the pool. Never had a bladder infection before, but got one because of the pool water. Booked with direct beach access, but it took about 10 minuts walk to get there and the sports activities at the beach as advertised was nowhere to be found...
The water park that was connected/included to the hotel had less than half their slides open, the wave pool didn't work and there was something wrong with the water, our bathing suits got ruined discolored beyond repair.
The food was the same EVERY day and food from previous day got reused. It supposedly had 2 restaurants but they served absolutely the same food, just a smaller selection in on of them .
The rooms and common areas was dirty. They had carpets (not wall to wall) a lot of places and they were VERY dirty and sticky, only cleaned with a broom. We found dirt and garbage under the beds, in the desk and behind the toilet. Our second room had no shower curtain and the drain overflowed every time we took a shower.
I could go on and on and on....
Just stay away from this hotel and be sure to double check your booking and reviews befor booking with Neckermann. The hotel said that it wasn't the first time Neckermann had "mixed" up the booking to them as regarding to the ages.

Not honest

Made 2 reservations for a hotel in Mykonos; both with 2 travel operators belonging to the german Thomas Cook group: ITS Billa Reisen and Neckerman Reisen. Due to a wind storm in Santorini, ships were cancelled on the 14 August and couldnt travel to Mykonos on the first night. Of course contact the hotel. Meanwhile had to pay an extra night in Santorini.
The hotel in Mykonos was very understanding and didnt charge the first night. Asked for the refund of the first night. And incredibly the 2 operators had different behaviours. ITS BILLA REISEN paid the refund while Neckerman refused to do it. Cant understand because what we asked for was money they didnt paid.
Has been booked with them for years. But definetly wont do that again with Neckerman Reise.

Very bad experience with them;(

I bought a family trip to La Santa on Lanzarote during high season in July 2015. The hotel has an extensive sports program, an extensive animation program for children, excellent sporting facilities and use of all kinds of sporting equipment is included in the price. This makes the hotel rather expensive, but still we thought it was an excellent choice as there was something to do for everyone in the family; our father, who was training to do an ironman, our son and I, who love surfing (equipment and tutorial was included in the price of the hotel) and our youngest daughter, who just want to swim and play with other children.
When we arrived at Lanzarote we were contacted in the airport by the Neckermann staff who told us that they had overbooked the La Santa hotel and that we could´t go there even though it was the place we had booked and paid for. There was absolutely nothing to do about it. WE were only given the option of staying on the opposite coast of the island (where the kind of surf that we do is not possible). We were told, that Neckermann had booked an alternative hotel for us, and that this hotel was children friendly, was situated right at the beach and had an animation programme, too. We were very disappointed but had no choice but to go there. Once we arrived, things got even worse as it turned out that the hotel was NOT by the beach (about 1 km away). It was very quiet and meant for couples and not families; there was no animation programme at all, hardly any other children staying there and no sporting facilities. It was 1 hours drive to the nearest surf (we do paddle surfing) and of course equipment and instruction was not included (and this is quite expensive in the Canary Islands). No need to say that this was NOT AT ALL the holiday we booked and payed for. We did drive to the opposite end of the island twice to go surfing, but we had to pay for equipment rent and surf instruction. My husband did not get the chance to train for his ironman at all, as the hotel had no pool for lap swimming and no bikes like La Santa has.
The most ridiculous part is, that when we came back home and asked Necermann for some sort of compensation, they offered us a compensation of 297 € plus the payment of a small rental car (to use for shopping etc, as the alternative hotel was situated far from everything). This is less than 10% of what we paid for the holiday we did not get. 297€ only just covers our expenses for surf board rental + instruction for 2 days (which we had already paid for once at the hotel they´d overbooked).
We have now booked a new trip to La Santa, as we had promised our children we´d go there and it still hasn´t happened. But this time we are NOT going with Neckermann and I advise everyone else NOT to go with them either!
