We had a fantastic time at Buca Beach Club!. We travelled with two teenagers and we barely saw our 15 year old as he was constantly out doing activities with WaveRiders and sailing with the new friends he met. We booked the tennis and pickleball courts multiple times; attended Pilates and Aqua and undertook some one-to-one sailing lessons as beginners. It was great to have so many options across the day whilst also being able to just chill at the beautiful pool. The staff were incredibly friendly across the whole site - from activities to restaurant staff - and really made us feel welcome. As a coeliac, I also have to give a shout out to the Buca chef - this is the best hotel I've stayed at in terms of GF options! He went to a lot of effort offering multiple options in the buffet and we also joined in the Cookery Masterclass where he provided by with a GF pitta bread, he made me feel like nothing was too much trouble which was really appreciated. This was our first Neilson holiday but we will definitely be booking up again next year - thanks to everyone for such a fantastic holiday!

The overall holiday was ok. The pool was nice the beach was depressing A long walk to a lonely almost always deserted beach set up really needing a beach bar and some life - it's also set back very far from the water - the sailing area needs a better dedicated launching and landing area as swimmers put other crafts in jeopardy by constantly being in this area - the health and safety regarding this is missing. The rooms were ok despite us being in the worst possible location but we had ant infestation and the bathrooms are totally exposed to the other occupants in the room with clear glass windows ( there is a blind but it really is odd and the glass should have been frosted.) We didn't see anyone from Neilson walking around - no one interacted with us or checked how we were enjoying the holiday . The food felt like it was rationed - as we were in Buca they put out the smallest possible spread and it felt like they didn't want you to take "too much". There was way too much pasta and not enough protein. It's also in the middle of no where - if you like heading to a small nearby town or village and don't want to pay 60 euro return cab ride give this a miss There are 4 restaurants and 1 beach bar a 20 euro return cab ride away or a 20 minute walk each way.

We’ve just returned from another fantastic holiday at Bucca. The restaurant staff were so welcoming every day, the food was delicious and plentiful. The activities on offer are varied and there is enough to please everyone. The tennis coaches were excellent as were the fitness team and swimming coach. A couple of things we missed this year were the afternoon snacks and drink by the pool- this was a nice touch in previous years. Also, you no longer get a free laundry wash when staying for 2 weeks which we also missed- 25 euros seemed a lot to pay for one wash. Overall though, the whole family had a great time. The atmosphere is relaxed and sociable and the Neilson team are so upbeat.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday with Neilson and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was fabulous. There was a great variety at every meal, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and something new and exciting to try each night. We mainly took part in beach and fitness activities. The sailing area was beautiful, with ideal conditions and a great range of boats available. I also enjoyed the yoga sessions, which were a perfect way to stretch and relax after a morning on the water. What really made the difference was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests had the best possible experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and their positive energy created a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived until we left. Overall, Neilson delivered the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, great food, and exceptional service. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to booking our next holiday!

I would like to say that Scarlet (I think that is her name lovely blond bubbly person) and Jack were brilliant at the water aerobics. There was also another guy with Jack and Scarlet blond curly hair who was great. Jack was great at the spinning class. Sam and Cameron were good with the tennis and Fontaine (I think that is her name) was lovely in the restaurant. as were lots of the restaurant staff I did not meet the resort manager and noticed there were several people from Messini who came and used the sunbeds and pool at Buca to get away from their kids!!!!!!!!

2nd visit to Buca - the variety of options works well for our family (2 parents, 2 young adult children). Feel very spoiled with great choice of food and activities, even when resort is busy there is a quiet relaxed atmosphere around Buca pool. And if you want excitement you can go to Messini!

Buca beach is a lovely resort, small and compact. This was our third visit. Staff - Neilson and Greek are wonderful and very welcoming. Food is very good, lots of choice. Back in September and next year so what more can I say. We love it!

This was our 5th time at Neilson Buca. We had, as in previous years, an excellent vacation: great staff, great equipment for activities and great food.

Had a great time and the reps, dining, bar and reception staff were all fantastic. Doesn't feel like great value for money however, especially drinks and food which seem very expensive. Pool is looking quite tired now, and could do with a revamp. Would be happy to go back, but between 2 of us, with the drinks and food added, we spent over £4k, so just seems like you could could get better somewhere else.
