We love the Cosmos Bach Club and all the staff from Cosmos and Neilson who go out of their way to make the holidays so good. The location is perfect, the accommodation is great and the activities really enjoyable. The only minor gripe is that some of the windsurfing kit is getting a bit tired (the learner boards very much so) and at times the availability of certain board sizes can be a bit challenging (the Neilson beach team do all they can to ensure everyone gets suitable kit when needed). Hopefully there will be some kit refresh soon, we'll know when we visit again next summer. There are some great cycling routes to try, we like the flatter ones through the olive groves but there are some proper challenging routes for those looking for that adventure! The town is a stroll away with plenty of places to eat and souvenir shop, the people here are so lovely. Holidays here are always very enjoyable, the place has a great vibe with a wonderful team. It's not surprising to see so many returnees whenever we go.

The water sports here are amazing. Gentle breeze in the morning, great for learning, building up in the afternoon to a strong wind, all the while with a flat sea state. The cosmos team are fantastic. Kind, and Knowledgeable, they'll never send you out on the incorrect gear, and have their eye out for you. The cycling is also brilliant, a bit of as hidden gem. Expect big climbs, but absolutely spectacular views, and really fun down hills as your reward. You can go guided, or take the bikes out as you like, which was refreshing. Meanwhile the kids club is fantastic, and our 8 year old had 'the best time ever'. Stellios the owner, is always around and has his eye on everything to make sure you have the best time. We went B&B, but the places in and around do the most amazing food at really very reasonable prices. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their outdoors, and their food. Only reason I don't give 5 stars, is a lack of tennis or ball sports, and kids groups stopping at 13, but there's just not enough room for that here, and all the above out weighs that by a long stretch.

Amazing! 10/10 attentive staff, clean rooms, healthy foods, activities on hand when required, equipment great, transfers were on time, weather was bliss. Kids Club was fabulous for our 9 year old. Stelios and Daisy and all the Neilson crew were tip top!

We have been coming to Cosmos for over 25 years, and it has never disappointed. The location, and the staff are all wonderful. We stayed at Xenia apartments across the road from Cosmos this time and this was also wonderful; marvellous breakfast. The only disappointment was there was very limited equipment for wingfoiling, which was very frustrating as other water sport facilities on the bay were well equipped.

Our first Nielson holiday, and I'm furious ... that we didn't discover them sooner! We had an absolutely lovely week at Cosmos. Both Daisy and Stelios's teams couldn't do enough to make us feel so welcome and at home. I think they must be recruited on the size of their smiles. The hospitality, the kit, the tuition and the happy vibe gave us the best week. We will be back ... hopefully before the end of this season.

I am one of the many who frequently return to the Cosmos Hotel for a Neilson windsurfing holiday. Both the Cosmos Hotel and the Neilson staff endeavour to and succeed in making my time spent there excellent. It’s so good I often go twice a year as do others.

A fantastic team let down by board availability Vassiliki is a brilliant destination for windsurfing, and the team here genuinely made the holiday. Staff were skilled, attentive and clearly passionate about what they do. Harnesses were plentiful — I never struggled to find one — and the bikes were well maintained throughout. A great group of people all round. My one significant gripe, and it’s worth flagging for anyone choosing this as a windsurfing-specific holiday, is the board fleet. On multiple occasions I couldn’t get the board I wanted, and sometimes couldn’t get anything appropriate for the conditions at all. At one point I seriously considered hiring from a neighbouring centre — not something you expect when you’ve paid for a dedicated windsurfing hotel. The numbers tell the story: I was informed that 31 boards were out of commission at one point, with roughly two breaking per day, mostly from nose damage caused by catapulting. That points either to insufficient fleet size or repairs not keeping pace with demand. Compounding this, some brand new boards had arrived without nose protectors fitted — a puzzling oversight given that nose damage is the most common failure mode. The fleet mix also felt misjudged. Wave and trick boards mostly untouched on many days, yet the freerides were consistently the most sought-after. Vassiliki is not a particularly wavy spot, so the logic behind that split was hard to follow. Ultimately I had a wonderful holiday and would likely return — but a windsurfing centre lives or dies by its kit, and this is one area that needs serious attention.
