The chalet is a great place to stay. Very friendly staff that make you feel nothing is too much trouble. Food is delicious and generous portions. Only downside is the hill but it’s a good opportunity to stretch / warm up the muscles before and after skiing

The app is not intuitive so staff should assist guests personally at start of week. The registered guiding groups are not checked at the mountain meeting point. The limit should be 10 not 12. Breakfasts were good but no info about options such as porridge and poached eggs. Afternoon teas were excellent. Dinners were poor: either no vegetables or very small portions. Worst meal was meatballs with tinned spaghetti and no veg. The seating on the coach back to Barcelona was too small and very uncomfortable. The manager Ethan and especially Sasha were extremely helpful; the rest less so.

Chalet is pretty good. Further away from the slopes than advertised. Dinner service could be improved, people on dessert whilst others still waiting for main. Bar is advertised as being open fro 3pm until 11pm. It is open at 3, but you have to hunt down the staff members, and it shuts at 9 or earlier every night . Asked every morning if we wanted our room cleaned, which is fine, but if you wanted it done after 9am that was not possible.

So unfortunately for us some of the evening meals weren’t to our taste. Sometimes Luke warm and sporadic service. The rooms also were on the small side however, the staff were lovely and attentive. Plenty of of hot water for showers/ baths etc and the breakfast was good and plentiful.

First class holiday from start to finish. Easy collection at airport and transfer to/from chalet. Neilson reps were great and a very good attention to detail for any food requirements from the chef. Only negative is that resort ski lessons & neilson guided tours are all on at the same time, but that is dictated by the resort.

Great homely chalet with fantastic staff! It would be even better if the food choices were self service and included more veg, especially towards the end of the week.

Everything you need for a week's skiing. Neilson staff in chalet and on slopes were fantastic- all incredibly helpful and friendly. We had a great week and would definitely come back. Couple of minor points: Ski hire shop was hopelessly under-resourced for the numbers of people hiring equipment on day 1 resulting in us spending about 2 hrs in a queue- not what you want when you've been up since the early hours and been travelling all day! Would also be helpful to have breakfast slightly earlier: 8am was a bit late as long queues for gondola meant we were late for ski school on one day. (It was Feb half term though so prob ok the rest of the time.) Food varied between really excellent and not so good on one or two days. Overall though, you'd struggle to get such a good skiing experience anywhere else for the money.

We had the most amazing time at hotel casale, the staff were amazing and so much fun, nothing was ever too much to ask. The hotel was spacious, the food was excellent and the rooms were always clean. Ethan, matty, Sacha, Georgie and G were so hardworking and respectful. Special thanks to G who booked me an emergency dentist appointment, total life saver! We already can’t wait for our next trip

There was a long, arduous walk to the ski lift which was not made clear in the brochure.

Beautiful chalet with good sized bedrooms. Located uphill from the nearest chairlift but ski lockers close to the chair makes walking to and from much easier. I couldn’t give 5 stars due to issues with the food service during our visit. A new cooker arrived so hopefully that will help in the future.
