Accommodation was perfect and quite. Facilities were excellent, including bar, ski coaching, proximity to lift and the staff were great. Especially Lorraine, Josh, Melissa, Merril, Miguel and special thanks to Robbie on the slopes. The resort is amazing, with plenty of runs, good lifts, good value eatery's and even at the time of year we went over easter, we had fantastic snow and Bluebird days. Would definitely go again.

The bar and restaurant were wonderful. We valued the interconnecting rooms but the main double bed was extremely uncomfortable - a large slat of MDF with a thin mattress on top. Both my husband and I had lower back and hip pain all week every morning, better by the evening and totally resolved after leaving. A shame as the accommodation was otherwise good.

We had a great week’s skiing here, lovely snow and mostly sunny (one day’s snow while we were there. Friendly staff who couldn’t do more for you, Neilson mountain expert sessions included an instructor who was also very helpful. Hotel is very comfortable, nice indoor hot tub and sauna, food is good and ample without being cordon bleu. Great salad buffet at dinner! And lovely sunny terrace outside the bar in the afternoon. 100m across a field to nearest lift which takes you right up to the main ski area. Nice when snow covered, a bit muddy when it melts. But all in all a top place I would be glad to go back to.

Having just returned from the Neilson Chalet Hotel Edelweiss, I would thoroughly recommend it. The Chalet Hotel itself is functional, rather than luxurious, but has everything that you may need including sauna, jaccuzi and therapist. It also has a seperate restaurant and bar which keeps the socialising and dining seperate. The food was very good, plenty of it and the chef had the ability to cater for the unusual. Finally the staff were all brilliant, helpful, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and respectful. The other, quite important thing, was the skiing which was excellent over a wide area. Good access to facilities, efficient lifts and a superb ski school.

Beautiful location. Warm, clean & very friendly staff. Great Ski & boot storage facilities Lovely Mountain View - clean bathroom & comfy bed. Great breakfast & afternoon tea. Dinner was mostly well cooked. All soups were delicious & had bread/croutons. Mains were mostly adequate but some eg baked aubergine and stuffed courgette needed to be cooked thoroughly. Having salad every day was great.

Great staff, food and facilities. Would be great if it was a little higher up the mountain but still managed to ski in/ski out. Highly recommend

Not too badly priced as it was half-term. Well placed near to pistes, 50m from the nearest lift, the chalet is placed a little lower down a steep hill than the village itself, would be a difficult walk if injured. Chalet staff V friendly enthusiastic and helpful. The gentler blue pistes for learners are set at least one chairlift up the slopes and the reds that return to base are a bit narrow (the broader one going to "our" lift was closed for some reason)

We booked this skiing holiday with Neilson's as a last minute booking. The office staff were very helpful. The chalet and room was excellent and the staff friendly and fun. The Manager, Lorraine, was exceptional and made all guests feel very welcome. The ski instruction and guiding was first class. All in all it was a very good week and will certainly return for another week. All in all it was a very good week and will certainly go again.

Nice hotel in good position for chair lift and red run back. Not enough clothes space in bedrooms or any hooks in shower room. Otherwise comfortable and warm with pleasant bar area.

Great hotel with lovely bar and terrace. Food pretty mediocre and although close to a chairlift, long steep walk up into the main town

Hotel, room, also public sitting areas were of a really good standard nice and warm and kept really clean. No in room tea coffee facility but are available 24/7 in the dining area. The staff couldn’t have tried any harder to make our holiday any better. (Jordan) a big thankyou. We were moved here as the Italian resort we were meant to be in had no snow. This hotel caters for family’s so it is at times extremely noisy. (SOME NOT ALL) parents need to keep an eye on there children and under control. (Running around like in a playground is not acceptable) Especially in the dining area. This is a health and safety issue that needs addressing urgently. As far as the resort we would definitely come back, but maybe not this hotel.
