We had a fantastic holiday at Ducs with Neilson. We joined the mountain expert guide group every afternoon and spent an enjoyable couple of hours skiing on and off piste matched the groups ability. We were back in time for afternoon tea which was delicious cake, tea and coffee; the cake was different every day. We were pleased we were half board as the food and drinks in resort were expensive. The hotel food was good there were 3 options for an evening meal including a vegan option and lots of choice at breakfast. The rooms were clean and towels were changed once during the week. The boot room actually dried our ski boots so no need to take them to our room. All the staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly.

The location of this hotel is great, just off the main road in the center of Val. The rooms are quit large and my room was very clean. The food was as expected, very good selection for buffet breakfast, and 3 course dinner. Everything I tried we cooked correctly and tasted good. The ski room was well heated and my boots were dry every morning. All the Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The table service at dinner was very good with the staff attentive to the diners needs, with timely interventions.

Really easy to book with lots of accurate information on the website. Needed to call regarding lessons and agent was very helpful. All Neilson staff were excellent throughout the holiday. Only opportunity for improvement was the flights. Jet2 had delays both ways and on the return leg blamed Neilson for the delay owing to inaccurate passenger number information.

The social table for dinner in the evenings was a great success. The ski sessions were good, even though I was a bit rusty….the food was well varied and with a couple of glitches delivered well. The two quizzes added to the overall experience. I’d happily recommend the holiday.

Wonderful hotel extremely well run by the manager Lucy. Good food options provided for breakfast and great menus for the dinners in the evening. Tea time between 16 and 17:30 - perfect, with fruit, yoghurt, cakes, various teas and coffee choices. Great Neilson representative Jack, whom I found caring, considerate and nice to chat. Very informative together with Tom, another rep. The Greek waiters were very nice and caring too. The chef's efforts were appreciated every evening - delicious soups, second courses including vegetarian options and desserts. Thank you for your hospitality and great atmosphere!

Excellent experience and holiday. The kids club team were outstanding nothing was ever an issue and our little one had the best time. Liv and Alice made his first holiday in the snow truly memorable. The hotel was clean and all the staff were super friendly. They had thought of pretty much everything that we could need.

We stayed in January 2026 as a family of 4, and pre booked the kids club for our 2 and 4 year olds. Fantastic holiday from start to finish. All staff very accommodating and friendly, excellent kids club where all staff went above and beyond, lovely meals and communal areas. I guess the rooms are abit outdated and our room could have had brighter lighting, but was very clean throughout and you don't spend enough time in the rooms to worry. Definitely recommend for families or adult holidays.
