I hired a mtb for 17 days to do the Annapurna Circuit. Was a sensational experience made better on a mountain bike, especially when coming downhill.

The team at Pokhara Moutain Bike Adventures were extremely professional. They helped me plan out my itinerary as I was doing the trip solo while giving me many tips. They set me up with the best gear and most importantly were always available throughout my trip. So much so that a bike mechanic met me on the mountain halfway through the trip to fix an issue.

If you plan to hire a bike in Pokarah for short or long term look no further.

We did the Annapurna track by mountain bike and rented 2 mountain bikes here. A Scott spark and a Scott genius. The bikes were in very good condition and well maintained. The staff were very competent and were able to help us a lot with the preparation. We felt very comfortable because the staff were all very nice and also supported us during the trip. the manager in particular often gave us a recommendation for the trip witch was very helpful. Especially when it comes to safety and possible emergencies, the good reachability is very positive. The daily fee is quite expensive, especially for us as students, but reasonable, especially in international comparison. If you add the excellent service, the price is still very good. It should also be emphasized that the store has its own jeep transport, which is suitable for mountain bikes. The store also offers guided tours, which we didn't do, but the contact we had with the guides was really nice and pleasant.

We will certainly travel to Nepal again by mountain bike. But it is already clear that we will come here again. :D

I booked the lower Mustang tour as a private tour through a travel agency in kathmandu. as described on the website it would have been quite a boring thing for me if it wouldn’t have been for my perfect guide Mr. Anil. during the acclimatisation tour around Pokhara he very quickly assist my abilities and likes and dislikes. Mr. Anil is not only a great mountain biking guide but also a very good psychologist, in judging his clients needs and moods. already on the first day we made the extra climb that I could fully enjoy the sights and single trails aroundPokhara. Mr. Anil always went above and beyond to make me happy and took good care also of my culinary wishes. during the trip he organised everything very spontaneous, smoothly and flexible. So I could fully enjoy endless single trials. The region around Muktinath is really a paradise for mountain bikers and single trailer lovers. Mr Anil also had to show his skills as a mechanic when my bike had an accident. It was a miracle that he could make it work again for a whole other day. the bike was from very good quality. I was so happy for smooth ride. all the staff at the bike shop were very friendly and helpful. I felt very welcomed and well taken care of from arrival to departure which was well arranged.

Pokhara mountain bike adventers were absolutly fantastic from start to finish they really took great care of us the bikes & equipment were top quality our guide Anil was one of the top MTB cyclist in Napal & took us on some great knarly chalenging trails exactly what we wanted while at the same time making sure we were safe & comfortable with everything we did he really looked after us 5 stars allround we could'nt praise them enough thank you so much guys.

I arrived in the office of Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure and I directly felt these special vibes. All the people working there love there jobs and just want to show you all the great options you have here in Nepal to explore on a bike. I decided to do a 4 day MTB-Tour in the Pokhara Valley. It was such a wonderful experience. My guide Suman was so great. He looked after me and protected me against all the scary dogs :-). He also is just a great company to bike with. When I come back for the Upper Mustang Tour I really hope Suman is free to accompany me. The 4 day MTB-Tour is perfect for everyone who enjoys climbing up the hills but also going down on Single Trails. The nature is just beautiful and you can enjoy the few of Pokhara, Phewa-Lake and Begnas Lake from above. The teahouses we stayed were so beautiful, quiet and the food was just amazing. I specially loved the first stay at Himalayan View Tea House. In the morning we had these wonderful and clear view of the mountain ranges. My bike was a very good, fairly new fully Trek-bike. Also the whole equipment they provided me with (helmet, gloves and also a brand new biking pants (only ordered for me from Kathmandu)) were fairly new and in very good shape. All in all it was a great adventure and a perfect way to get around Pokhara Valley to enjoy the nature and also to explore the culture. I will come back for sure!!! Thank you guys for such an amazing time!!!

My wife and I approached Jagan for an overnight 4wd Jeep tour into the mountains. Straight away, he began to help us and started suggesting certain places we could go within the timeframe we put forward. He managed to craft up a wonderful trip into the lower mustang region where we were able to visit Kagbeni and Muthtinuk and marvel at the amazing landscape and mountains. We even had time to stop by the hot springs. It was all very well organised- our food and accomodation was all sorted and all we had to worry about was taking pictures!
Our driver, Ramesh, was a great guide who answered our questions and stopped whenever we wanted to take a photo. He had very good English and He drove very well and professionally and always made sure we had what we needed such as water and food.
Overall, we were extremely happy with Jagan and the team and would highly recommend a 4wd Jeep tour with Jagan to anyone who wants a great time seeing the mountains!

We rent some VTT in Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure agency to go from Muktinath to Tatopani and then to Chitre. The organization was a little complicated, but Jagan managed this very well and we have been able to ride as we wanted and it was greatful ! The bikes were of very good quality.

I am a member of a Hong Kong group taking up the 14-day Annapurna Circuit mountain biking trip organised by Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventures in November 2023.

I am no stranger to Nepal mountain trekking and I did the Annapurna Circuit once before the millennium. When my young biking buddy Dora disclosed that she was planning a biking trip round the Annapurna Circuit, I was thrilled and tempted to revisit the intimidating 5,416M Thorung-La Pass by a different mode notwithstanding I am 70+. I am grateful to the repeated assurances and encouragement by Jagan and my teammates and I made up my mind to give it a try. I never regret my decision as I have been rewarded with the breathtaking and stunning views of the snow capped mountains sceneries giving me the tremendous joys and sense of being so very close to the true great nature.

That said, the trip would not be such a great success without our marvellous and professional guides, Dhan and Anil. Dhan has abundant experience behind him and he is down to earth, truly an expert in his field. He is accommodating and yet assertive in making good informed judgment after taking into account of all fast changing circumstances and factors. Anil is young, energetic and humorous, making light of moment when we were pretty exhausted at the end of the day. Furthermore he is such a great mountain biker. Apart from our guides, the supporting porter team is friendly and helpful, always wearing great smile on their faces despite the hard work and harsh conditions.

I am proud of my team’s achievement and am more than satisfied with the unforgettable journey. I have no hesitation recommending Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventures to anyone who is contemplating the rewarding challenge of mountain biking in the magnificent and wonderful Annapurna region.

My sister and I went to Jagan for bungee jumping after being turned down by other agencies. He managed to get next day tickets including transport. He also helped us get bus tickets last minute for a great price! He was super helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend and use their services again :)

From meeting Jagan and organising a day that suited us everything was perfect. Great sunrise at Sarangkot followed by downhill to suit our ability with Luxman, then a climb up to the peace pagoda.

What an epic adventure. 12 days riding from Pokhara over the awesome Thorong La Pass! Everyday presented a new challenge as we explored higher and higher. The logistics for a trip like this are huge. The threat of acute mountain sickness, finding available accommodation, eating the right foods and u d’état a ding the time between points.

The team at Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure were amazing.

The rental bikes, while basic compared my XC race bike at home, were solid and did the job well. There were a few mechanical issues due to the extreme environment but the team fixed them when they occurred.

I couldn’t imagine doing this without a supporting team, the spare parts, logistics and experience required to do it solo would be very risky.

Thanks to Jagan and his highly competent team of guides, porters and supporting staff for their hard work, diligence and caring nature.

Do yourself a favour… book with them.

We had 2 weeks riding the Annapurna Circuit with Pokhara Mountain Bikes and their service, guides and porters were all fantastic!! In tough conditions, they ensured our bikes were in excellent condition every morning with no mechanical issues during the days. The friendliness of all staff, their laughter and joy in life made a tough ride so much fun

Touring with PMTBA is nothing short of a 5 star experience!

I trekked by mountain bike to Thurong-La pass (5416m). The team of guides and porters made the experience feel completely safe while stretching and challenging me to go beyond what I thought I could do!

I could focus on the experience and memories travelling through the incredible Himalayan mountain evokes.

This team are the best when it comes to looking after their guests and the equipment you are using.

If you want a challenge with the right people on hand if something goes wrong, you have to go with this team.

Jegan and his crew were excellent. Made our Mountain Biking tour of 7 days in Pokhara and it’s environment one of the most memorable MTB tours abroad. The selected terrain and locations were awesome with the backdrop of the majestic mountain ranges.

Me and my partner went on an eight-day mtb tour with Nepalmountainbike through Lower Mustang area. The trip was amazing! We were very happy with our quide Santaram who knows the terrain well and is an excellent mechanic. The bikes we were given were perfect for the job and in a proper state. We enjoyed beautiful scenery, friendly people and good food. We highly recommend the trip and the company!

Lower Mustang MTB - overall this trip was awesome. Great quality proper mountain bikes and a great experience, Friendly guides and support personnel.

I went in September however had cloudy weather and it was warm. Would recommend waiting until October for clearer sky’s.

A dual suspension recommended for lower mustang as the trails are very loose and rocky.

Jagan was very accomodating and wanting to give the best experience to his clients. The MTB tour was challenging due to altitude but very rewarding. The guides were also very patient and experienced. Mountain biking was a great way to experience the Nepal Culture and the Mustang region. I would recommend Pokhara Mountain Bike
