Neptune - Chiswick Reviews 101

I love coming into Neptune Chiswick shop to admire ( and buy!) their beautiful furnitures and kitchen accessories. I am particularly impressed by Shaila customer service, as she is always so attentive, has a wealth of product knowledge and is such a gem. I highly recommend this store.

This is an awesome shop on Chiswick high road, a must see. Lovely design furniture and home accessories, great quality. The staff, in particular Shaila, was very knowledgeable about the products, very attentive and caring to my needs and requests and thanks to her i found my beautiful and uplifting Ella saffron tumblers. I would strongly recommend visiting the Neptune Chiswick shop..

We happened to pop into Neptune on Chiswick High Street by chance and are so glad we did. We ended up purchasing three beautiful bar stools, the quality of the furniture is outstanding, with proper solid wood and a lovely finish throughout the shop.

The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly understanding, even with our two lively boys in tow, which made the whole experience very relaxed and enjoyable.

A truly lovely shop with beautiful pieces, I would happily recommend Neptune to anyone looking for well-made, timeless furniture.

We had a wonderful experience with Neptune designing and installing our new kitchen extension. Aneeta in the Chiswick store was very easy to work with, and her colleague Greg was very responsive in organising the installation. It was a very long project due to the building work associated with it and they were very patient and adapted the designs as we needed. The aftercare post installation was also excellent, with some small issues and damage fixed quickly and fuss-free. We are very happy and would strongly recommend them for anyone looking to do a complex high end kitchen installation.

Gianni was super helpful helping me with the range of dining table options. My attention was drawn to the clever extras that weren’t immediately obvious, like the reference to Battersea Power Station in one of the pieces, which is the one I’ll be ordering now.

The bar stools are beautifully made and very comfortable. Delivery was very efficient too.

I went all the way to the Chiswick store from Edgware because I wanted to see the coat rack before buying it but unfortunately it was not on display. However I ordered it in store and the staff were very helpful. It arrived very fast. I am very happy with my purchase. I know it is not cheap but knowing myself I’ll probably have it for another 30 years so, might as well buy something I really like !

We bought their Suffolk dining room table and matching sideboard. The process to order and take delivery was quick and easy. Staff were also knowledgeable and helpful.

However issues arose a few months later: the durability of their furniture is questionable - the sideboard’s paint isn’t high quality and easily takes on dents and nicks at the lightest of touch (think of a piece of jewellery like a watch or bracelet brushing against it). This makes it, in reality, not a useable piece of furniture - fine to look at but not practical to use. Also all the paint in the corners has cracked too which is unsightly.

Our experience with their dining table is similar, we used the blue solution in their isoguard care kit to spot clean the table but it’s created a yellow patch on it! The irony is that we have been extremely strict in not using any other chemicals and only a damp cloth. We thought their own brand care kit would be fine - but we’re wrong.

Their aftercare is pretty non existent which is especially frustrating given how great their presales were. We just get fobbed off on email to basically try and fix these issues ourselves (i.e “try sanding and repainting”). This is unacceptable given the furniture is not even a year old.

We were sold on the dream that we were buying heirloom quality furniture but their premium prices certainly do not correlate to premium quality.

The team at Neptune were fantastic and we are thrilled with our new utility room. Aneeta did an amazing job designing it given what a small space it was, and Greg and Adrian were great with the project managing and installing too.
