Helpful CSMO

I had a technical issue which led to some trouble with their customer service. However, I ultimately got in touch with someone from their C-suite who was extremely professional and helpful, and resolved the issue quickly. I appreciate that they provide easy access to unusual ccTLDs.

Over the years, excellent support.

Over the years, great service, good choices, the right price. I've needed to solve a few problems with configuration and settings: they always make sure the problem gets resolved.
I recently needed to set up user authentication with .htaccess. Had an problem getting the files uploaded to the right location and with the right settings. The support team worked with me to get it right even if it meant several exchanges back and forth. "Several exchanges" could have meant long delays between each. No, it meant a few minutes each as the support folks kept moving things forward. Bravo!

Blocking domains without warning

NETIM blocked all my domains without sending and email or notifying me.

As of today all my domains are blocked and websites down.

I contacted support and they said they have requested on 20/01/2025 to provide my passport and ID which is NOT true. They never sent an email to me.

They just block your domains without warning.

You have to understand that we have procedures to follow.

An email was sent to you requesting the documents needed to carry out this verification. We cannot be held responsible for the fact that you did not see this email or that it took you longer than indicated to reply.

If no response is received, the domain names associated with this holder will be suspended for non-compliance with our general terms and conditions and those of ICANN.

If you needed more time, you could have informed us so that we could see what could be done.

As soon as we received the requested documents, your domain names were reactivated.

They don't care about the costumer

After being a costumer for more than 4 years and having 20+ domains, they emailed me with a requirement for my company information. They only gave us 5 days to comply. While we were waiting for the gov to facilitate us the documents, they blocked all of our 20 domains, so everything was down: site, email, etc. They did that on a sunday and customer support wasn't even active.

Do not use Netim if you can avoid it, they clearly don't care about the costumer, or they obviously wouldn't do it.

Taxes

It's ok, reliable service, but you shouldn't pay your local VAT for a ccTLD outside the EU though. In fact, legally there's no need to if your registrar is outside that region. I wouldn't let a +27% markup slip if I knew a decent company based outside the land of shiteater bureaucracy for my choice of TLD. But with prices so good that it's still like "OK" with the taxes added, I will stick with netim for their superb reliability. 5 stars for netim's servive, 3 stars for EU decceleration; 4 stars average for not having their HQ outside EU.

Value for money, professional helpdesk

I discovered NETIM while searching for an exotic short domain, and now I am transfering to them all my domains from another register.
Their prices are market conform and you get the service you deserve.
I open a ticket unnecessarily (just because I didn't know how domain transfer works) and their helpdesk answered very quickly to me (in less than 1 hour).
I am a satisfied client and I do reccomend them.
