The platform doesn't care about their users. I've created an account, and it got suspended right after the creation. I then went to check the forums, and I was surprised to see tens of threads having the same issue. The most common response to this issue was always along the lines of: "If you want to host your site, you're better of going with another hosting" or "it doesnt hurt them to suspend an account of someone they dont think will transfer to a paying user". This was my 5 minute experience, and it was all i needed to never reccommend the service. The way to get your account unsuspended is to either
1) verify with stripe, which let me remind you, is for a FREE service.
or
2) send them an appeal ticket.
Now, what do they do with these appeal tickets? They (their AI, most likely) closes it in an instant. There is absolutely no chance a human could read it in the time span between i sent it and when it got closed.

My 3 sites were removed after false accusations in fraud. No notice, no checks from their site.

I've been using this site for 6 years now. Great UX, reliable and affordable. Highly recommend it for trouble-free deployment.

Had some issues with Netlify but the CS Team was good enough to respond on my tickets.

Yeah, they claim my account was fraudulent, without even speaking to me, and with absolutely no basis in fact. Pathetic, cowardly, stupid little company. I hope they fail miserably.

Cannot even create a free account, without providing identification data to some 3rd party payment provider. This is extremely fishy, irresponsible, and evil requirement.

Take down all of my sites (40+) just by a "notice" given by a "fraud reporter" against 1 site. It is so easy to take down others' sites just by sending an email.

I've been using netlify for over a year now and its still awesome!
The only problem I'm having sometimes is max of 10 seconds timeout on netlify functions, and also running puppeteer, so I have to find other solutions for these specific uses. but other than that I love Netlify, I use it every day.

For more than a year I have used Netlify to deploy and host several React webpages and it has been way easier, compared to other options (including Github and Gitlab pages). Of course the initial set-up might take a bit of time as with any deployment, but once set-up, and connected to a repository the CI-CD is perfect!
It is easy do add custom domains, subdomains and URL paths.
There is tons of resources online on how to use Netlify or how to tackle any problems there might be. Will be my main choice for deployment and hosting for now.

Take your business elsewhere.
With Netlify, you get what you pay for, which is very little. Their software requires significant troubleshooting even in the simplest situations, and if you're considering asking for help on their support forums, don't bother. Luke Lawson will snipe the conversation because he's chronically online, and provide low-quality support with a large dose of condescension and passive-aggressiveness.

They used to be so great, now they are just pure scum. Make it impossible to cancel with an impossible navigational maze. Dark patterns everywhere. Avoid this company like the plague they have become. Will be issuing chargebacks, this company has to be punished for its illegal practices. 🖕

Simple to use with loads of tutorials on setting up with most or not all Domain Hosting places.

I love the free version and don't plan on stopping using Netlify anytime soon.

This guys are the best. Anything you need & it's super easy to use, most of the time automatic.

Amazing service. Allows anyone to have a website running in no time and with no cost. Additional features like Forms allow websites to scale in complexity without much hassle.

One of the best tools out there. It's cheap, it's fast, it gives free https, and the only catch is that they make money once you scale your site up. Still, it's so easy and hassle-free that it's worth it.

Love it. Have been using since 3 years and I can vouch it's best in the market. Easy Integration even for people without much coding experience. Long way to go!!!?

Netlify is simply the best there is.

No issues whatsoever with hosting many websites for free(!). Easy to use as well!

Useful. Wasn't paying anything and got a shareable link to my html&css built sites I built with Adobe DreamWeaver for exercise... just download the files and it works. My projects were small though.

Great company, providing am awesome & easy to use product. Easiest platform I ever used.
