Dreadful owner
Dreadful owner. Phoned ahead and spoke to the owner when I wanted to get a pair of trousers and a jumpsuit shortened. He quoted me £15 per pair of trousers. When I went in the next day to get them measured up and pinned they tailor rang the job up as £48! She said that how it prices them on the till. When I told her how much the man on the phone told me they would be, she said that would have been the owner, only he can adjust the prices.
I went in to collect them today and spoke to the owner to discuss my shock at the price difference. He was the rudest most arrogant man I have ever met and will never give them my business again.
He went on to tell me that he didn’t really know the prices, that it was up to the tailor, even though he was the owner. When I pointed out he was the one who informed me of the prices he simply walked away saying you didn’t have to get them done then! I told him that he should have said that prices start from £15. He kind of shrugged his shoulders and said, yes you're right I should have! No apology, no discount, disgusting behaviour and not a way to treat a customer. I would avoid at all costs.
