Driver Francesco was excellent

I booked a private transfer with BA, the driver Francesco firstly sent me a WhatsApp message to advise where to meet and was waiting for us with a clear professional sign at the arrival. He was very friendly to me and the kids, helped to put language in the boot. As we requested he was kindly driving us along the coast for scenic views and providing geographic information. We were very happy with his service.

Our Driver Francesco Was Brilliant

Citalia arranged our private transfers whilst on holiday in Italy. Our driver Francesco was absolutely brilliant. He picked us up at Naples train station to transfer us to Sorrento. He messaged ahead to arrange a pick up point, had a sign with our name on, he was on time, helped us with our cases, he was very informative and friendly throughout our journey including lots of local knowledge and drove very careful around the windy roads. As we were arriving late, he even rang our Hotel ahead of our arrival to ensure that we had food arranged. Thank you so much Francesco - an asset to your team.

Not Good

Thomas Cook booked me a private transfer with Network World Travel - Italy from Naples Airport to my hotel in Sorrento. Outward on 9 June and back on 16 June. I was assured a driver would be in arrivals holding a sign with my name on it. On arrival at the airport there was no person holding a sign with my name. My phone was dead, but fortunately a lady from EasyJet (who I had not flown with) saw I was distressed and offered help. We found my name on a small sign at a counter well out of sight at the back of the arrivals hall where an operative led me out to a car park and found me a driver. He drove mostly with one hand sometimes no hands making phone calls the entire journey. My return driver on 16 June arrived nice and early, he too made loads of phone calls but at least most of these were hands free. He dropped me on the fringes of the airport (not at the terminal) with no instructions where or which direction to walk as it was obvious he was keen to get to his next job. I got lost as a result and ended up in the wrong terminal.
