NewBlueFX - Titler Pro 7. Prepare to be underwhelmed
Following an update of Titler Pro 7, I experienced a problem within my host software Magix 22 - formerly Sony Vegas.
Now I like Magix and NewBlue is a third party addin which was offered free. There are various types of addin and I think Transitions is rather good to be honest. Titler is very poor, but it’s free… what can one expect?
So, back to Titler Pro 7 - following the update is wouldn’t work. Emailed them as Chat wasn’t enabled. Eventually tracked down the problem, I had two of them installed on my system. One the serial had expired, the other the serial was for a purchased package not a freely offered package (with Magix). Daniel was superb, knowledgeable and k ew his product. Sorted it out very quickly by asking me to delete the updated version for my product and I had to reinstall an older Magix 19 version.
Not a great deal of difference to be frank. But the product - Titler itself it woefully poor. I think I’ve used it a handful of times in 10 years or more. The software is slow and glitchy, the effects are simple and slightly entertaining, nothing is ‘good’ more so’ - interesting. If you want impressive, there are far better products out there. Would I buy Titler? No. It’s just not refined, productive and simply can’t produce Wow-work. Sorry!
Having said all that my experience of their service is exceptional..
