Seller sent two different tracking numbers one said it was shipped before I bought the product and the other to my old address.Nothing arrived at my old address. Newegg refuses to deal with this at all because it was shipped to my old address regardless to the product being actually shipped

I'm so disgusted by newegg. I bought a $1700 computer from them that has VR capabilities.. didnt work from day 1. Sent it back to the company, they said they fixed it, when we got it back from them it was still broken. We ended up spending an extra couple hundred in computer repair. The computer was "very corrupt" according to a tech guy (I'm not a tech person). At about the same time we bought a VR Vive from them but obviously since the computer was broken, we couldn't play VR. Finally got the computer to work (with absolutely no help from newegg) and we found out the VR headset didnt work. Went to return it, it was past the 1 month return date. We bought a 2 year extended warranty too. And the reason it was past the return date was because they sold us a broken computer!! And they said they fixed it... what the actual f***. I dont think this is a legit company. They are scam artists. Now my savings for extra items are gone. It took me a long time to save up for this and now I'm left with nothing. Its really messed up how they dealt with my situation. I highly discourage anyone from buying from newegg. It was 100% their fault and they turned their back on me. Twice.
Newegg scam
I called in to the 1800 390 1119 and ordered the parts listed below, I got a gift card from my grandmother with $2000 on it, and when the shipment arrived about a month ago, and the box was damaged so I didn't except it from the shipper who came to my door, as it was a rip and dent in the side of the box about 3 inches long and indented and least 2 inches. I called in again last month the same day explaining the issue, and have not heard anything back yet with the tracking number to my e mail, or the order confirmation. I had called back the second day after I place the order as I still never received my order information as the money was off of my gift card. And whoever I spoke with said everything was fine and they weren't sure why I wasn't getting the email. But now they can't find my order or even that it was shipped, so now they're saying is pretty much my loss. This is totally unacceptable. It is obviously someone that works for them pulled something shady.
Surprised of the lack of amount of reivews
I am surprised of the lack of amount of reviews and with the bad reviews against Newegg.ca. As myself, I haven't gotten a bad experience so far with this company.
The prices are reasonable compared to other places most of the time and the packaging / shipping of the orders is pretty fast. But some orders are shipped via Purolator and that's a different can of rotten worms.
The customer service representatives are very helpful with any questions that I may have before ordering or cancelling orders from my own mistakes.
All I can say with my experience with them for the past few years, it was great so far and will be purchasing more from them in the near future.

If you want to be sure to have problems with either packaging, shipment or receiving DOA products, for some reason this is Newegg's motto, where every order has a problem.
And then you gotta talk to 5 chat representative via the chat, wait 1107 minutes on the phone to be told ''our team can't handle this request now, the team will call you tommorow.
Then you receive an email asking you to call them back because you didn't answer, yet you never even received a missed call.
And then you go back to the 6 hours queue time on the phone, and being the 70th in the chat's queue.

There was a breach of security at Newegg and my credit card information was stolen.

1st woman i spoke refused to speak up even tho' i asked her 4x to do so - i rhen asked her to xfer me to someone who would speak up - she talked for 3 min and then said she would xfer me, i asked for her 1st name and was met w/ silence - after a minute i got a survey asking me 'how newegg service was' - after completing the survey i was given the option to press '1' to speak to a supervisor - this 'supervisor' called 'ariel' did not even respond to my question since after grilling her she admitted to not even hearing my question - and she is a supervisor
? - i asked to xfer me to her manager - she said 'no' - i asked to be xferred to her manger's voicemaii, she said 'no' - she claimed that her manager would call me within 24 hr - by 3pm et - i confirmed the time w/ her - my thoughts ? NEVER BUY FROM NEWEGG - period, full stop
Not a client anymore
I just had an order cancelled for insufficient stock, several days after Newegg processed my payment and confirmed the order. Needless to say, this is unacceptable and I won't be a client anymore.
Poor customer service after item didn't arrive
I would give it a zero if that was an option. Ordered a tablet and the box arrived empty.about 1 month ago. I opened the box at the post office in front of post office staff and promptly called customer service while I was still there. They asked a few questions, said they would get back to me in 3-5 business days. I called again a week later, was told, oh, we got confirmation the package arrived so we closed the claim. I explain again box arrived empty. They reopen claim. Today I call again and am told, for the first time, I need to file a police report and send pictures....of an empty box that was sent to me almost 1 month ago. Really???? Staff at a company that deal exclusively in mail order don't have a script and standing policy to deal with this sort of thing? The whole experience has been frustrating and the level of disorganization is mind blowing

Payed 90$ for a 30$ item because their system can't recognize the payment after PayPal authorized. Contacted them via chat and they can do nothing about it. The company is so unorganized. People inside have no idea what's going on. When I asked for a refund, they claim no such payment was sent while my PayPal clearly says the payment was sent. This is the only site on internet which I am leaving a bad review for.
A tale of two warranties....or no warranties.
My story begins in the fall of 2016. Earlier in the year LG had released the G5. In August I honed in on the G5 as the phone I wanted as I could get a LIfeProof case for the phone, it has decent reviews (unlike the Motorola's I could have got a LifeProof case for) and it wasnt as expensive as the Galaxy S7 or iphone 6. I did notice that the listing on NewEgg.ca said American Warranty. What I didn't know at the time was that US Warranty on NewEgg.ca is code for NO WARRANTY. So less than a year later when I had some minor issues with my G5 I was very discouraged to learn that in fact my phone had zero warranty. This was not because I had voided it or that the damage was not covered....NOPE...it was because the phone I purchased in Canada from NewEgg.ca had a US warranty and US warranty is only applicaple to US residents. I got stone walled by NewEgg and by LG on this issue. So it would appear that if sales are lower than expected in the USA, LG will just dump a bunch of phones on to NEW EGG at a considerable discount, knowing that they are final sale and no warranty. NewEGG sells them for a high margin but nice discount compared to brand new devices with warranty. Its a win win for LG and NEW EGG and loss for consumers and the little guy.

Returned an item . Spoke with a representative before sending it back .
I was told they removed the restocking fees and sent an email confirming it. when the return was processed they charged me the restocking fees so i spoke with someone that told me that the email wasn't a valuable proof of that credit. they tried to meet me half way and i had to spend at least 30 min on the phone to get full refund. So keep snapshots of conversations on the chat or just buy for a little bit more on amazon to have peace of mind

DO NOT EVER order from their "marketplace". These vendors simply steal your money, and NewEgg just assists them in the process.
I ordered products shown as in stock from a "vendor" - HotDealz4Less. So right off the bat, my fault, just look at the name of the vendor. Nothing professional there for sure.
They took two weeks to ship a package, and they shipped the cheaper version with a similar part number. After waiting a total of 3 weeks to receive this (keep in mind, could have bought from Amazon and had it in two days!), it took another week to get a return label.
I shipped it back, they received the return in 4 days. It's been two more weeks, and nothing. No refund. I've tried contacting the "vendor" directly, contacting NewEgg through every means possible with the constant "Give us the tracking information and we'll look in to it" followed by days later "Please give the vendor more time to process your return". ARE YOU SERIOUS??? These people stole my money a month and a half ago, I've never been shipped the product I ordered, they received the wrong items they shipped me back almost 2 weeks ago.. What could possible be the rationale that they need more time to process the return?
NEVER, I mean N-E-V-E-R again. If NewEgg was the last place on earth left to buy a product, I'd live without. They will never receive another penny of my business.
BUYER BEWARE!! Look at the reviews here, I'm far from alone in this experience of absolutely ABYSMAL customer treatment.
