Newegg sells their junk to the public…
Newegg sells their junk to the public to avoid landfill costs. I ordered my first open-box item after reviewing the return policy "just in case". The return policy states that there is a 30-day window. Upon reception of the motherboard I ordered I saw that there was three large pieces completely missing, along with other required cords missing, which made the motherboard unusable. I immediately contacted support. One month later, many conversations and department tthrough, they refuse to refund the order nor make the unfortunate situation right in any way (such as providing the missing parts separately) and revealed that they selectively place a separate return policy on open box items which reads, "NeweggBusiness guarantees only your receipt of the Open Box product with the purchase of this item. Accessories may or may not be included. NeweggBusiness is unable to provide any missing accessories, even if they are required for full functionality of the item." - in other words, they can send you a screw from the motherboard and refuse to refund your money. Newegg sells their junk to the public to avoid landfill costs and makes millions off of it.
