Look ok on website but very expensive and poor quality

Look ok on website, so i asked for quote sending pictures for replacement web and seat and back cushions for an Ercol Windsor 3 seats sittee, including foam replacement, providing MY MATERIAL. Very expensive quote(£1.165), so I reduced work to be done, removing the back seats cushions, still £725.This is for an old family piece of furniture. Unfortunately, the new seat cushions & foam were to be each with BOXED PIPED COVERS, as confirmed in writing, but none of that was done. and above all THEY USED the WRONG SIDE of my material, (inside out), without bothering to check oven the phone, if in doubt . The only positive thing is that they came to collect and delivered, but their location is not easy to find even with a satellite guide. I am afraid I could not recommend them.

Approached this company for a spring…

Approached this company for a spring repair in January 2022, and received the following quotation, ‘for a 2 seater sofa spring repair you would be looking around £65 to £85 depending on how many springs need to be replaced’ called to try and book it in and was asked to pay in cash so needed to check to see if I could arrange to have cash available on the day of repair because I don’t normally carry cash. Emailed them again asking, ‘Please can you confirm availability for the repair of the sofa springs quoted. I am able to accommodate an appointment any date commencing Wednesday 19th January 2022, and as discussed if preferred payment can be made in cash.’ But received no response, when I called instead to try and book it in they then pretended they couldn’t hear me. They never responded to my email, for the life of me I have no idea what their issue was. I would not recommend, strange behaviour and unprofessional.
