Excellent doors, excellent customer service
I’ve had my doors for five years - absolutely love them, have them open all day all summer. Clever design and so easy to open and close (love the blinds too - really smart). The lock was getting a bit temperamental and New Wave sent staff to check - all it needed was some silicon spray but really quick and helpful customer service. Highly recommended.

A company of real people who care
After visiting multiple showrooms, we decided to go with New Wave for our 2 sets of kitchen back doors and we couldn’t be happier.
From the moment we visited it was clear that the company is run by real people who care about the service they provide. Claire advised us of the benefits and drawbacks and we left feeling completely assured that they were the right company to go ahead with.
They worked with us and our builder to ensure that none of the fine details were overlooked and that we could achieve the finish that we were after.
The installers arrived on time and were really decent guys. I am critical of finishings but they were more than happy to discuss the fine details with me on install.
The quality of the doors is excellent and we have had lots of positive comments. They are built very well and far stronger than some of the alternatives we viewed.
Overall extremely happy and will be ordering another set for our living room next year.

What a joke
I promised if they did not go back and resolve the lock issue I would leave another review, so what did they do, they sent me a solicitors letter saying that I am blackmailing them, what a joke. I have complained to trust pilot and google.

Amazing product and service
So impressed with the product, sales experience, advice, installation and follow up. We were attracted to the product by the solution it provided for a large opening that did not have the now widely recognised issues associated with the bi-fold options on the market. The website demonstrated this well but being a Mechanical Engineer I was keen to see for myself that the mechanism was of sufficient robustness to deal with usage over a good life span. On enquiry we were invited to the factory where we were hosted by one of the technicians/engineers (perfect for my questions). The product was all it claimed to be on the website. The factory and manufacturing set-up was equally impressive. So product confidence confirmed we went ahead and each step of the way this confidence was reinforced right through to the handover at installation and final provision of documentation. Having used the door now for a few weeks our satisfaction remains 100%. After spending a lot of time researching and pre purchase checks we would recommend the door and the company to anyone seeking this type of solution. Thank you to all at New Wave Doors. Very happy with my doors - they look excellent and work well. I visited the showroom/factory in Bristol and had a good look before making a decision. New wave doors have been great so far.
I was looking at this option from May 2025. We did our research and even went to bifold suppliers but my gut was telling me to go with New Wave. Eventually a few months later I went full circle and they were great in communication when ordering. I have no experience in the building trade but they were patient and helpful in every stage.
Coming up to Xmas we had our date booked and the fitters came and were so friendly and happy to do the job.
Everything has been working fine....only been a few days since install but I can imagine having amazing summer bbqs and not having to worry about the doors taking space inside the property or outside. Can't wait to use these properly over the spring and summer and even over winter when cooking in an open plan kitchen they are useful to create more ventilation if needed.
The doors look amazing and really will be a talking point when we have people over.
Brilliant service and really helpful people at New Wave who made the whole experience from ordering, talking through the options and installation a great positive experience.

The doors look and work great
The doors look and work great. The installation was quick and professional. There is a slight rattle when the door is closed and locked when pushed/pulled which I do need to follow up with the company about but it is not really a problem and I suspect can be tweaked. The only reason I can't give five stars is that we had to chase to get updates. There was a delay in production due to materials which was no fault of the company. For us this is a huge purchase and we had a wooden frame bunging up the aperture we had made for the door so combine those two with not feeling like we knew what the plan was for our door, it was a anxiety inducing time. When I did get through, Claire was very helpful.

Ordered the doors with a 6 week lead time for delivery. Was informed of a problem with the manufacturing process and a potential of a delay. The team communicated the issue and managed to deliver ans instal the doors as planned without a delay.

delivered on their promise quickly
Promised me a call back re a minor issue with the door. They called back within an hour and arranged for an engineer to call in on his way past to rectify a fault with the building settling, not the doors. Top service !

Great doors and helpful staff. They helped ensured everything was measured correctly and discussed the options thoroughly. The doors were delivered within 4 weeks of ordering and the fitters were very clean and they walked me and my wife through the doors once they’d finished. Would have been 5 stars . . . .
After being let down (robbed!!) by another company, I turned to New Wave having met Zoe and the team at the same show as the aforementioned competitor. Zoe was very helpful, queries were ironed out remotely with the planning and installation teams by phone and email and an order was placed.
Shortly afterwards, I was informed of a delay due to a faulty batch of profile which was not ideal but, was at least well communicated.
The only downside in the whole process was that, during this time, I had a call saying that the white profile had come in and they were trying to prioritise these jobs. I was booked in there and then for an installation date. On the agreed date, I called to find out where the installers were only to find that the installation planner had “no recollection of that conversation”
Installation was rescheduled for the following week. Installation was quick, tidy and the guys were very likeable and polite.
Door looks brilliant and we are very happy with it. But for the scheduling error, it would have been a 5 star review

Update: 03.02.25 Although we love the doors, we are still waiting for NEWWAVE to come back to us with a date to resolve our issues, no longer responding to email contact (which is there preferred contact as stated on website) Not impressed so far with the After Sales or lack of it.
Fitters were very professional and helpful, communication with sales team excellent. Waiting on aftersales to look at a couple of minor issues we have noticed since installation but have been responsive via email and just waiting on date for them to come back and rectify issues. Overall very good experience so far. but only giving 4 starts due to waiting on reported issues to be looked into and rectified. Doors look amazing and we are very happy with them.
