Must be able to do returns
The only thing i dislike is the fact that they don’t do returns. I had to exchange my dress several times and the end pay more than the original one. The quality is excellent and customer service is superb. They are very helpful when it comes to finding what you are looking for.

NYD was the only retailer I could find…
NYD was the only retailer I could find that would ship my must have dress to my country. The no return policy terrified me but I took a chance, following every measurement and detail in their description and hoping for the best. The dress arrived quickly and was well packaged. I looked at it on my dresser for 5 days before I was brave enough to try it on...but when I finally did? It was perfect.

Impeccable service
Impeccable service! I was interested in buying a dress and as soon as I contacted the store they answered me immediately and said that I would have the dress in 10 days (shipping to Europe). I decided to order the dress and as they said the dress arrived on the scheduled date. The dress is exactly as it is presented on the website and fits perfectly to the body. It's beautiful! I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The quality of the dress is awesome
The quality of the dress is awesome! I wasn't expecting to be that good. I bought my wedding dress a while ago in Mexico and thought was going to have problems with the shipping but amazingly everything was on point, received it on time and follow the recommendation about sizing up and fixing it with your local needlewoman, which I did. My wedding will be this month in another country and definitely will recommend everyone this store.

I feel SCAMMED, completely DIFFERENT COLOR not on website
I ordered a purple dress from the site for my 50th birthday celebration I AM IN TEARS!! I reached out to NYD and explained, and they assured me in writing that the dress, size, and color would be shipped. I got a maroon color, which is NOT shown on the website and NOT what I ordered, this is a completely different color. Now, no one is responding, the item arrived yesterday via DHL.

My purchases have been online and the clothes arrived on time. The dresses were beautiful, however I had issues with 3 out of 7 dresses purchased, because the shimmery things were just falling all over the place. I don't like the fact that I was unable to return them, because they were not good quality materials used. Sewing on all dresses were perfect though.

James always picks out the best dresses that suit the events I'm going to - he is so patient and makes the appointment fun! NYD is lucky to have him. Can't say enough good things about my experience and the gorgeous dresses. Their inventory is amazing.

Prices are way too high
I love New York dresses, I love the fit, the styles and I would buy more dresses. But the reason I give a 2 stars is because the prices are way too expensive. I live in Toronto, Canada and plus we have to pay more for duty free and the rate is crazy for just across the border...and it is sad
