Overview Sandtex Retail Quick Drying Stabilising Solution is a water-based, quick drying stabilising priming coat ideal for preparing chalky, powdery or weathered surfaces. Suitable for most exterior surfaces, this highly penetrative primer and stabilising solution is designed to thoroughly prepare masonry surfaces prior to painting, providing a sealed and stable surface that paint can easily adhere to. The ready-to-use, easy-to-apply formulation dries in only 4 hours. Suitable for both professional and DIY use, this product can be used on render, roughcast, pebbledash and brickwork. Any faults in the surface must be repaired as these may lead to moisture penetration. Remove all loose and flaking material by scraping or brushing with a stiff brush. All signs of organic growth must be removed by brushing with a stiff-bristle brush. Kill spores with a fungicidal wash. Application We always recommend testing the product on the surface to ensure compatibility. Sandtex Stabilising Solution is ready to use and must not be diluted or mixed with decorative materials.
