I have spent 15 months planning a national event that consisted of a conference during the day and an evening awards ceremony later the same day. Hard work and perseverance over this time meant that we were fortunate enough to receive ministerial support from the Welsh Government, plus executive and senior level representation from all NHS organisations across Wales, as well as other public sector and leading industry guests.
There have been many challenges along the way, not least of which were issues with my event organiser and a snap general election, both of which contributed to the need for me to take control of the event in a more hands-on way than intended. Almost every step of the way to get this all-Wales event over the line was a struggle; everything that could go wrong, did! Through this chaos it became apparent that I possess more creative vision than technical expertise - and this is where NIAVAC stepped up. Despite the pressures I placed upon the team, and my hurried preparations, the event was a resounding success. Despite the really tight set up time, everything was ready to go entirely on schedule. From the guests' perspective, the entire event ran seamlessly and professionally; feedback from attendees included the outstanding sound quality and 'awesome' digital screens, that really gave the awards the 'wow factor'. From my own organisers’ perspective, NIAVAC were the unsung heroes of the event. Their expertise and know-how more than made up for where mine was lacking, and they supported me to deliver the ambitious brief.
With particular thanks to Steve for being my point of contact and providing a supportive shoulder throughout a really stressful process. He helped guide me through the technicalities of making this first event so impactful and memorable, helping make my vision become reality. Steve and the team were polite, approachable, helpful, knowledgeable and, most importantly, understood the overall aim of the event and worked tirelessly to help me deliver it.
All our guests had an amazing experience, brought to life by Steve & the team. Planning for next year has already begun, and Steve and the NIAVAC team have set the bar really high for the future. I couldn't have pulled this event back from the brink of disaster on my own and I'm really excited for the future since it went so well, so I would wholeheartedly recommend NIAVAC for any AV requirements.

We held a prestigious event in Hill Of O'Neill in Dungannon recently. It was really important for us that the event was well presented and NIAVAC were recommended to us to help with the AV element of the evening

Right from the outset we were confident that we were in good hands and NIAVAC worked with us every step of the way to ensure that the event was the great success that we needed it to be.

The quality of the video screens was a big part of the event and Steve, in particular, was so helpful, knowledgeable and professional that we were able to focus on addressing all other aspects of the evening. But it wasn't just that - for example, Steve's suggestions about screen location for maximum impact were spot on and worked to enhance the evening for everybody.
