Wonderful experience. Would have been a perfect 10 if the kind staff would lower their voices when talking to each other — especially in the relaxation areas like where the foot treatments are given. It’s a bit of a thoroughfare so traffic is expected, but it makes it hard to relax when staff is coordinating at full volume.

Kate at Ni'mat is amazing. She is making the best facials I have ever tried and is such a nice person. I can strongly recommend Ni'mat!

I had the best massage I've ever experienced, and cannot recommend highly enough the Japanese lifting facial. I left feeling relaxed and glowy, truly rejuvenated after my time at the spa. Staff were friendly and professional, the products used smelled wonderful and left my skin feeling smooth and soft. Truly an oasis.

I had Mihaela as masseuse and it was simply out of this world - it was deep tissue as requested while also being very calming and relaxing. All in all an amazing experience and 80 minutes was absolute perfect for the whole body massage.

I booked a “ritual” and a facial. The ritual was two hours of the water facilities and a foot treatment. My facial was set to start at two hours after the start of the ritual. I found the facilities to only be ok. The set up was seriously beautiful. The room, the pool, the whole thing. But one hot tub, one sauna, and one steam room? It was pretty lacking in actual facilities. The hot tub wasn’t nearly as hot as I’m used to and I never found the button to make the steam room turn back on.
But honestly the thing that pissed me off was that I was told I need to be out of the water and waiting for them when my foot treatment was set to start. So I did. And I waited 10 minutes. And no one came and no one was around. I looked through the place twice. So I finally decided I might as well use the facilities since I’m on a timer, well I get picked up 5 minutes after that and then there treatment is 30 minutes long and I’m told to just sit in the chair and wait for the last 15 minutes. So my 2 hours was actually 1.
Now the facial? 10/10. I’ve had multiple and it was exactly what I wanted. Cleaning and perfect. My skin looks phenomenal. If I came back it would be for a facial and maybe a massage. I would not touch the water area again.

They made us feel relaxed and taken care of. We both enjoyed the foot and body massage and they personalized the experience so it suited our needs and preferences. We will definitely go back.

Convenient location, as I was staying in the hotel it meant a quick stroll through the lobby to the spa.
Prompt service, when making my reservation by email, reception in person was very personable and welcoming.
Mikaela's deep tissue massage was very very good. She is not only knowledgeable and professional but also very sensitive to verbal and nonverbal communication about the pressure. It was great and I felt revived afterwards.

I had the pleasure of receiving a treatment from Nikoline. From the moment I arrived she made me feel welcome and at ease. She talked with me about my treatment and advised me as we decided where attention would be focused. Niko is professional, knowledgeable and has a very balanced and aware sensibility making her a master of her craft. If you want to chat during the treatment she is a great conversationalist or if you want
some quiet to just let go and immerse yourself in the experience she is adept at reading the moment. On top of all this she has a glowing and beautiful spirit which is apparent as soon as you encounter her. Niko was so brilliant I booked a second treatment during my stay in Copenhagen - just a day later and it was my last day. My body felt relaxed and energised and my spirit felt content. I can’t recommend Niko more highly!!!
As if this wasn't enough, all the admin and reception staff are also incredible - welcoming, friendly and full of fun! Veronica and Rose are two lovely souls that I enjoyed great chats with before and after my treatments. The whole team are really a family and they invite you in to that! Such a great place!
Do yourself a favour and book in to give yourself a true highlight of your trip!

The person who checked us in was surprisingly rude and dismissive. When we entered, my daughter checked the reservation and the greeter invited us to hang up our coats and said nothing else to welcome us or tell us where to go. I asked if I could use bathroom downstairs and she said yes, so we headed downstairs. Then she yelled at us that we could not go down. I am not a child. I am a 60 year old woman and was very surprised at the tone of her voice -- especially after I had just asked about going downstairs. So we came back upstairs and then she exasperatedly directed us to sit in the waiting area. For context, I have visited traditional Hammams and Korean Spas in other cities and they have separate days and/or spaces for different sexes. This place does not separate by gender and requires bathing suits. Ok, but it wasn’t clear when we reserved. Then the front desk person came into the waiting area and explained we could not use facilities because we did not have bathing suits but could have a brief massage. We agreed, accepting that it was a misunderstanding in communication. What was not a misunderstanding was then she called downstairs and I heard her explain to her colleagues we would be massage only but “they probably don’t understand what I am saying”. Since I am an American native English speaker, I will not try to guess why she thought we did not understand her, but I have visited spas in Korea, NY, Finland, Paris and Canyon Ranch in the US — I will say I know a bit about spas — and about customer service. I am not sure why her energy was so negative, why she felt she needed to raise her voice to speak with me, or why she felt she had no need to welcome us or orient us as is normally done in better spas. Instead of taking us into a preparation area or offering us a robe, she took us to a space to wait for the masseuse. When he came to collect us, he was visibly confused because we were not properly robed as the front desk person sat us in the spa area in our street cloths. Given the change in plans, and dimunition of the experience, I asked him about costs and he was not able to answer due to his English. He appropriately asked a colleague to come and help, and we were able to get our answers questioned. While the staff downstairs were very helpful and friendly, based on our bad experience with the greeter, I decided it was time to leave. In addition, as a foreign visitor who frequently comes to Copenhagen, when I asked the greeter about the spa clothing policies, telling me this is “how it is done in Denmark” is a condescending response and shows a profound lack of understanding of different spa traditions (incuding Danish public baths and other Nordic saunas, like the Finns). Futhermore, if this place is presenting itself as an Asian inspired spa, then it is not unreasonable to think there may be seaparate spaces for men and women, as is done in Korean and other Asian traditions. In any case, we offered no pushback on the bathing suit policy -- but in that brief exchange, the greeter managed to be exceptionally rude and condescending in her few responses.
To be clear the staff downstairs seemd appropriate and friendly, however our brief contact with the greeter led me to leave, which is something I have never had to do in all of the spas I've visited. The good news is in relaying my experience to friends later that evening, they shared a recommendation for a genuine Hammam in Copenhagen called Samadhi Spa, which does separate by gender. I have not visited them yet, but it was recommended as an authentic Hammam, like the ones I've visited in Paris, with excellent customer service, including food, tea and champagne offered with your services with a smile. They are who I will visit on my next trip to Copenhagen.

I have used Ni'mat spa as a go-to spa. This has now stopped due to that the maintenance of the place is poor. I have for the past 3 times there seen mould in the dressing rooms. It just has prevented me to continue at the spa.
The reception has improved and I always feel extremely welcome. The massage therapists are for the most part professional and very kind.

Thank you for your reply to my review, the mold is in the showers, and it should be visible for you to see.

The ambiance is very cozy, with beautiful decoration and details.
It was a birthday gift, and we were having massage at 17, and wanted to spend an hour in the spa prior to the treatment.
The spa area used to be included in the treatments, but we were informed it was changed. There is no information about this change on the website.
We were told that it’s now called rituals, and we could chose between 5 rituals, all of them quite expensive. We decided to take saunagus and hamman as extras, but they were not available due to the time of the day. Also this information is not mentioned anywhere when making the appointment.
We then went to the backyard where we could have something to drink and wait for our massages.
The backyard and hotel in general is very cozy.
We were picked up by the therapists at 17, and it was around 17.15 before we were undressed and ready for the massage.
The massage finished at 17.45
So .. the 50 minutes massage we booked, took 30 minutes.
After the massage everything was very rushed, because they were closing at 18, and we had to get dressed (without privacy), because they had to clean the room. Not even a glass of water was offered
I’m sorry to have given a gift to my friend as a birthday present, that did not turn out what I expected.
