Brilliant customer service but minor faults with vehicle
I received some excellent customer service at Nissan Renault in Bolton. The gentleman who assisted me in purchasing my vehicle was very polite and promised me an unbeatable price on my Nissan Micra which I eventually got. The only real problem I experienced with Nissan Renault would be undeclared minor faults with the vehicle which were not properly mentioned by the retailer in Bolton. For example, I cannot get air conditioning in my Micra in the warm summer months and just get hot air emitting from the air vents instead. The car overall was good value for money but I just wish they would have been more straightforward and honest with me about the minor issues with the vehicle. I guess that's what you get when you buy a second hand car though...
I am a motability customer
I am a motability customer ,
I ordered a Nissan Quashqai Nconnecta ink blue
£1000 deposit, I got told delivery date would be the 15th I call today to check all is well and get told I can't have a blue one full stop but I can have a black one but they are unsure when I can pick it up , I have already made arrangements for a finance car to be returned the day before delivery and now I'm unsure what's gonna happen , totally unacceptable
I had to call them to find out something they should of contacted me about
You would think if your paying a deposit for a car they would at least show some kind of knowledge about your order
If this is how they go about motability customers then God help the full paying ones
UPDATE, I HAVE SINCE RECEIVED A CALL STATING I CAN HAVE THE CAR ON THE 14TH THEY WILL INCLUDE A FULL TANK OF PETROL AND SOME MATTS
Abysmal after sales care
I bought a new Nissan Micra from Evans Halshaw (Nissan) Middlesbrough two years ago. Since then I have had problems with the front passenger door handle sticking in the open position. The dealer tried twice in two years to fix this with lots of grease which didn't work. They now have accepted it needs a new handle. A more serious problem arose recently when rust appeared on the rear wheel arch. I took it to the dealer who examined it and said because it was due to a stone chip it would not be covered under warranty and they would send the photos to Nissan for confirmation. After a long wait I was told to contact Nissan because they had confirmed it was a stone chip and they would open a job card for it. I did this and my complaint number was 1-690626660, I was to correspond with Amber. I pointed out that the stone chip was not identified on a major service which had beed carried out weeks earlier. She said she would look into it. A couple of days later Amber rang to ask if I could e-mail her a copy of the service sheet because she could not get them from the dealer, which I did). Amber asked me to take the car back to the dealer to look at the handle again because she said the dealer knew nothing about it. When I took the car to the dealer they said they knew all about the handle. I then asked her about the missing service details and she said she couldn't understand that and she showed me the sheet on the computer, she then went on to say that Amber must have talked to the call centre who don't have a grip on what is going on. On the 28/7/2016 Amber rang to tell me that the stone chip should have been identified at the service and as a goodwill gesture Nissan will pay 50% of the bill for the repair. After a long wait for an estimate for the paint repair from the dealer I drove the car there myself on the 2/9/16, they said they were not aware that Nissan had asked for an estimate. The estimate finally arrived and it was for £480.85. Whilst I was waiting for their estimate I got one from a reputable dealer for £130, so even with the 50% off I will have to pay £240 which isn't going to happen. When I bought the car I was persuaded to buy the Paint & Fabric Protection for £165.83 which has turned out to be a complete waste of money. The car has only done 7138 (town) miles. My experience with Nissan can been fraught with no replies to e-mails, no return phone calls and endless waiting. I e-mailed Amber to tell her I would not be accepting the extortionate paint repair bill and to date have not received an acknowledgement which is par for the course. The Micra was my second Nissan and I was looking at the Leaf as my next car which is another thing that isn't going to happen.
Motorline Maidstone
Unbelieveable service! Recommended my friend to Maidstone and he who bought a Qashqai a year ago. While it was in for service last week he fancied the look of a newer one on the forecourt and tried to arranged a test drive. Despite 3 phone calls and a face2face chat, the salesman never bothered to phone him back. So he’s just bought a Q3 instead. Today I tried to sort out a revised date for work on our Qashqai bought from Motorline Maidstone, got put through to central booking (?) who didn’t answer, gave up after hanging on 10 mins. Tried again, same result, 11 mins then phone hung up. Told I had to use this hopeless centralised booking service. After insisting on talking to someone in the local dealer, finally got through to someone in Maidstone after 5 mins waiting. After agreeing a revised date for the work, I was advised they would phone me back to confirm. 4 hours later and still no call……………..now they are closed. Not a great experience and one I don’t intend to ever have to repeat with a Nissan or Motorline.
Nissan Dealer Glyn Hopkin St Albans
I have had a Nissan Micra from nearly new, purchased at Glyn Hopkin in St Albans.
I recently had a recall letter for a steering column bolt, and also I had an issue with the airbag light, so I took it in to their service department.
I was given an appointment that suited me, and was treated extremely courteously by staff, the issues were dealt with in a very short time frame and I was kept informed at all times, including being clearly advised beforehand of any costs likely to be incurred. They even cleaned the car for me before handing it back, and I was courteously walked outside to my vehicle by a member of staff.
Cannot recommend then highly enough.
nissan chorley our new qashqai
bought our qashqai from Jacob at Nissan wigan. He was very confident and helpful answering all our questions. We went away happy with our deal and would recommend Jacob to friends and family without hesitation.
He also tuned my phone into the car and helped us to purchase our car mats. The car is great with great mileage and it was a pleasure to deal with A non pushy car salesman.
