50€ for cleaning
We had to pay extra 50€ for cleaning. We had used all the towels (3) and all the sheets and we received an email complaining about that. We though that when we paid extra 50€ we could use them. Also we had a complaint becuase we did not clean the terrace properly. We paid extra money, which we considered quite a lot for something. Not happy at all for this. In general the stay was great.

I book once at the beginning of june, and they cancelled, then i book another property and cancelled again, they make a money penalty to the owner and they keep the money instead of bring to the customer that receive the inconvenience to stay without property for his holidays.

Reservations with Niumba and Tripadvisor are not binding
I rented an apartment for March already in December last year, paid my deposit and got a confirmation. In February I got a message that the owner had cancelled the rental at his own discretion. I had bought fligt tickets and rented an almost identical apartment next to the original - but for almost the double price, due to the short notice.
I contacted Holiday Lettings for compensation which they refused.
So don't trust the companies - their reservations may not be binding.
Niumba didn't even try to solve my problems
I wrote several emails explaining that the owner cancelled the reservation after paying the deposit and they never answered. What is more, they followed sending emails asking me for the whole payment.
The owner was very kind and he refund me the money, but Niumba's customer's support was nonexistent.

I truly think We are talking about a really good web, With lots of options and a clear set function.

Used to be good but not user friendly any more
In 2013 when I started using Niumba it was a free service and it was excellent. I would have been happy to pay something for using it as it was. Now it is nowhere near as good. No way of communicating with clients who enquire, everything is blocked even after they have made their reservations. The additional charges passed on to the client when making their reservation are unacceptable. I am happy to pay 3% but it is not just 3%, there is the administration charge as well and it is far too expensive. Niumba also told me they had refunded a client's deposit when they had actually paid it into my account, very embarrassing for me as i thought the client had their money. I will definitely not use the service again,
