Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of products, noting that several items no longer felt moisturizing, left skin feeling tight, or were ineffective. Consumers frequently mentioned issues with new formulas, describing them as thin, greasy, sticky, or causing skin irritation and allergic reactions. The price of products was also a concern, with some feeling that the quality did not justify the cost, especially for reformulated items. Some people were dissatisfied with customer service, finding it unhelpful when issues arose. Reviewers also reported problems with product packaging, where jars appeared much smaller than their boxes suggested. Conversely, a small portion of people were satisfied with certain products, finding them effective for moisturizing and appreciating their simplicity.

Men’s Nivea face creams have a cheap smelling scent added to them. Very unpleasant for the wearer

New Nivea Soft Avoid this. Really.... avoid it

I've used Nivea Soft for a long number of years... about 20.....and it's always been excellent until now. They've created a "vegan" product and it's absolutely abysmal. Totally abysmal. Gone is the silky cream and it's now a watery gloop that has absolutely no substance and no moisturising ability. After applying to my face I feel like my skin is tacky and tight.... it's AWFUL

Unfortunately I have bought a huge tub of this before I noticed the "vegan" and "new formula". A complete waste of money as it's going in the bin. And from the reviews I'm not the only customer they're losing

Nivea.....if it ain't broke, don't fix it !!

Anyone know a good alternative?

New Nivea Moisturiser terrible and leaves skin feeling irritated

Having used Nivea moisturising cream on my face and hands daily for years I was very disappointed when I came to use their new Vegan “Inproved” brand.

The first thing I noticed was how it applied, it had a very sticky and tacky feeling that dried on the skin rather than absorb into it. Very quickly after application however I would feel a tingling and then my skin would start to burn, resulting in me having an allergic reaction and having to rinse it off. I tried it again a week later to see if it was definately the product and it happened again and apparently this has happened to others too.

I’ve tried to find the original but no where seems to stock it any longer. I purchased one on line which was advertised as the old packaging but turned out to be the Vegan brand again.

So now I left with 2 x 500ml pots I cannot use.

I’ve tried calling Nivea but it connects you, then after you’ve gone through the options just rings and rings.

I think they will be losing a lot of customers as it’s not the only product they’ve changed and so many people who have used their products for years have been left UNHAPPY & VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

STOP BUYING: 'Nivea Derma Control'…

We purchased 'Nivea Derma Control' 'Restore for Sensitive Skin!' This product sold as a moisturiser is NOT A NORMAL MOISTURISER! It a sort of watery gel that goes blotchy & intermittantly white when massaged into the skin. Go back to their regular products,

The problem is, if like me some 20 years ago I suffered from URTICARIA this product inflames the skin again & brings back all the symptoms! If your skin is particularly sensitive to this cheaper watery moisturiser then avoid, & NEVER consider buying it?

I had asked Chat GPT, God Damn it! Why do I look good for 35 (M), I even looked up how people biological age at different times.

But the secret when it comes down to it,
Nivea in the blue!
Every single day without fail since the age of 14 I used this to moisturise my ugly face….
It’s paid off!!
Will definitely use for the next 40 years of my life

Very demonic

Very demonic , when you have it on , it feels great and when you don't have it on your face breaks out with a rush and very dry skin. Also have very no ambition to pray or praise , I renounce Any cream I have used by Satan or witches to stop my beauty in Christ Jesus , I renounce every covenant I have came in agreement with knowing or unknowning . I repent lord Jesus for opening the door to the devil. I plead the blood of Jesus over my face and take back my pray life and praise and take back my beauty in Jesus Christ name Amen

New formula is a waist of money

Not realising the formula had changed I made the mistake of buying Nivea hand cream intensive moisture which used to work well. It’s now thin, greasy and leaves your hand feeling sticky and no longer nourished. Won’t buy again. It’s really expensive for what it has become.

DOES NOT WORK!!!!

Roll on deodorant DOES NOT WORK!!!! Both the 72hr and 48hr protection are abhorrently wrong, lasts only 3hrs in resting position if you're lucky. By FAR the single WORST deodorant ive ever used. What an absolute waste of money and resources. Should be sued for false advertisement

Really like their product and will…

Really like their product and will continue to buy them. Very basic and I think that's exactly what people should be looking for nowadays. I think that basic products shouldn't have a bunch of bonuses that take away from the simplicity. Sad that the prices have gone up a bit but that's everything...

Solid self care products

I’m not talking about creams and lotions for body, I’m talking about fundamentals such as shampoo, deodorant, showering gel etc. I know they are not the best in terms of the product composition, but I’m not looking for the best one either. Those are usually very expensive, and honestly I don’t understand in them and don’t want to spend my time sitting and exploring the differences. I just enter the shop, look at what they have and usually go for nivea. The most important thing is that it makes the job done.
