As a Photographer, I often love to visit Noah's Ark Zoo & Farm as it allows me a day out with the cameras to capture and keep up to date with the animals cared for.
With the buses from Bristol being regular and drop off & pick up on the door step with a small walk to the entrance.
I love the space and hope they'll expand more as they get the funding. I find the the price reasonable considering that it goes towards paying for Vets, trained and experienced Wildlife Keepers as well as feeding and caring for the animals which you won't find unless you go on Safari.
My wife, 19month old son and I recently visited Noahs Ark Zoo and had a wonderful day walking around the various enclosures. There is lots to see and do. We particularly enjoyed how close you can get to the animals as a lot of zoos we have been to have huge fences and separation areas to the actual enclosure. At Noahs Ark we were able to get close to the fence and see the animals close up, which is great when the lions and bears are walking along the fence line.
The tractor ride was another highlight, as my son would attest to.
I would advise booking early to receive the early bird discount, although I wouldn't say ticket prices were overly expensive in comparison with other zoos and it is a full day out if you do everything on offer (talks, shows, and animal close up experiences etc)
The only small negative is the price of the food. Although adequate, it isn't anything special and is a bit pricey for what you get. That said, you can bring your own food for a picnic and there are plenty of nice areas for that.
We will definetly be returning and look forward to the seeing Aqua (a rescue tiger) when he/she arrives.
Strange how a zoo/farm visited by hundreds of people every month doesn’t have a trust pilot page.
Visited on 03/04/23 with my mum and my 2 children. It cost over £75 for the 4 of us - and that was with a BlueLightCard discount of 5%. (Bearing in mind a similar wildlife park in the Cotswolds - with much more to see - would have only cost £54 for the 4 of us). It was very disappointing, and very overpriced for what was there. Lots of animals not visible, some enclosures seemed very small. The birds of prey display was great, and the staff were friendly. The soft play was huge, but I could have taken them to a soft play for a fraction of the cost. It was a good day out but not worth the money and we won’t be returning…
