I couldn’t recommend nords enough! I have recently went for a gastric bypass and the whole experience was just made so easy! Everything went so good and the care you receive is second to none. Honestly I couldn’t fault them at all. My recovery has been so easy and pain free! Professor malekas is just amazing!

Everything was so straight forward from booking to leaving after surgery.

After years of researching I was recommended Nords and did more research on them. I'm so glad I chose to come here. The staff are so kind and caring and helpful. The clinic is clean and organised. Had Gastric Bypass and my recovery has been so quick. Regular pain relief and encouraging and informative in recorvering period. Nords provides a facebook groups for everyone to talk and discuss and ask questions and WhatsApp groups for the month of your operations. This helped massively have such a supportive group of people to help go through this with. Nords also has a tiktok account that shows and explains alot of different things that help to prepare for the journey. It has been a wonderful experience and have felt truly in safe hands which the whole team. They have done proper checks to make sure all is OK with me. Thank you so much for your care and giving me a chance to live a healthier and long life time.

After years and years of yo yo dieting and trying to lose weight only to fail countless times, I finally took the plunge to have gastric bypass surgery. I chose nord as it had great reviews and a lot of people have used them. Also in the UK waiting times are extremely long so I thought it better to go private. My whole experience with nord was amazing, from start to finish, the staff were always friendly and pandering to any needs, and the clinic was amazingly clean. The rooms were a good size and had all you’d need for your stay there. It also included being picked up and dropped off by the nord drivers, who were very friendly :) all in all a great experience

If you are contemplating using Nords dont hesitate do it. They are amazing from first contact with my rep Julija who goes above and beyond to help with any questions. To the transport team who are so professional in what they do. The Nurses are so caring prior too and after surgery always checking you are ok and all speak perfect English they are amazing. Professor Maleckas is an absolute Gentleman and very professional always recommend the best procedure for you and is an amazing surgeon.
Nords clinic itself is better than any private hospital here in Ireland in my opinion. I am so so happy with the time I spent in Nords Clinic and would highly recommend using Nords to anyone contemplating surgery.

They did an amazing job with my gastric bypass! I have had no complications and everything from arrival to all the important things were covered and I felt comfortable and relaxed with little to almost no pain! Thank you Nord Clinic! The decision to go to NordBaratric Clinic was the best decision I’ve ever made. From the time of just considering them, to actual procedure, they were Fantastic. My customer service rep was Julija and she was brilliant. Any questions I had were always answered, and she responded very quickly with all the information.
The clinic itself is second to none. Very modern, and so clean. It’s a very high standard. I also stayed in their apartments and they were also fantastic and so comfortable. They had everything I needed for my stay.
I flew into Kaunus and I was collected from there and brought to the clinic, any time I had to go to/from the clinic I was collected and brought to the door.
The whole experience was amazing, every staff member are so friendly and welcoming and so helpful. Professor Maleckas is a very friendly and kind and so professional.
I can’t find any fault with this clinic. If you decide to go to NordBaratric, you’ll be making the best decision for your surgery!

Nordbariatric clinic is simply amazing.
From start to finish, I’ve had a wonderful experience with Nords. Julija was my rep and she answered all of my many questions thoroughly and never left me wondering about anything. She always put my mind at rest which was so appreciated when you’re having such a big procedure done.

I remember needing to choose a clinic, the uk was out of my budget, turkey was too far away and too cheap for my liking but Lithuania seemed like a good middle option. Fair price & top of the range clinic!
I read all of these wonderful reviews, joined their Facebook group and watched a video on YouTube of the surgeon himself, performing a gastric bypass with such ease and knowledge and that was when I decided this clinic was for me!

Arriving at the clinic, it was so clean, quiet and professional. The apartments were also brilliant to stay in!

The surgeon and whole nursing team were bloody fantastic during my entire time there! I can’t thank them enough. I felt so cared for & in good hands. My surgery went really well and I’m now 2 weeks post op & feeling fab!

Nordclinic is a superb organization. From my first contact with a bright and informative website, to a personal contact with Julija, who,guided me patiently and expertly through numerous steps, the process was seamless and absolutely faultless patient engagement.

This continued when I was met early at the airport by a cheerful and highly organized logistics team, who looked after my transport throughout my stay and were also informed and absorbing guides to Lithuania.

The clinic itself is spotless and quietly hums with efficiency, with a welcoming, friendly and highly capable from office team. The price structure is highly transparent - to an exemplary extent.

The nurses continue with quiet, considerate competence - I could not have wished for kinder, more considerate care. The anesthesiology team we re marvelous, explaining everything carefully and reassuringly - I cannot thank them enough. The Surgeon, Dr Linas Venclauskas, was kind, considerate, explained in just enough detail and visited me the morning after my surgery. His credentials speak for themselves as a surgeon, but his manner with me and my very rapid recovery from a larger than expected procedure are my personal testimony to his skill and dedication.

I cannot thank or recommend NordClinic enough nor report a more positive experience.

After considering surgery abroad and the bad things you hear I went ahead with it at Nord Clinic in Lithuania and I am very pleased with the outcome the staff from the lovely people picking you up from the airport and transporting me to and from the clinic was first class the staff from the surgeon, nurses and admin were wonderful thank you for giving me my life back one week in Lithuania was great lovely people and would recommed anyone to go to this clinic

I had a gastric bypass recently in Nords. I booked initially in Jan/Feb and got a date I desired in June. From start to finish, everything was handled perfectly. I had a wonderful rep called Julija who answered every question and concern over mail anytime I needed and I had a consultation with the surgeon , who put me completely at ease about the procedure. I also was added to a Facebook and WhatsApp group so I had the support and advice of others in my situation. The whole week in Lithuania went very smoothly, logistics pick you up at the airport and for every appointment and the staff at the apartments are available to you also. When I was admitted the surgeon, the anaesthetist and the dietician explained everything again and my pre op was done very quickly. The day of the surgery went perfectly , the staff are so beyond kind, a nurse held my hand as I drifted off and when I woke I was immediate given pain relief and after a few hours of discomfort from the gas I started to feel much better. I had two nights in hospital before going back to the apartment, I was discharged with all my info and meds and home where a nurse checked me daily. I couldn’t recommend Nords enough. Ireland was almost double the price for the surgery and while I didn’t mind travelling, I wanted to stay in the EU and avoid places like Turkey and Mexico where I couldn’t be sure of the level of care , so Kaunas was ideal. It’s a really beautiful city, absolutely spotless and the apartments are a great location , with a huge shopping centre and the city centre a mere 15 mins walk or €5 Bolt. I’m home in Ireland now over a week and feeling great. I’ve lost almost 20 lbs already and have had no issues at all. Anyone looking to have weight loss surgery, try Nords… I couldn’t recommended them high enough

I was on a long NHS waiting list for Gallbladder removal surgery. After thorough research I decide to look into having it done at Nord Clinic in Kaunas Lithuania. From the moment I contacted Nord Clinic they were very helpful and gave me lots of information if had any questions were able to answer them. I flew from Liverpool on 12th June 2024. Upon arrival I was met at airport by Nord staff taken to clinic for pre op checks. My operation was on 14th June. The surgeon explained the procedure. After surgery I stayed in Clinic for 1 night. On the 18th June I was taken back to clinic to have an ultrasound to check everything ok. Flew home on 19th June.

From moment I contacted Nord Clinic to arriving at airport being collected, to pre checks, surgery and aftercare I couldn’t not fault them are great. They have an amazing team of people to look after you.

I was frightened before the surgery but had no need to worry. I now feel great and are no more pain and discomfort. Scars are very neat and healing well.

I would highly recommend them. If need any further surgery would use them in the future.

I'm from UK but decided to go to Nord Clinic for gastric bypass due to the significant cost savings and because of the wealth of experience the surgeon. I cannot fault my stay there. The staff were very professional, very helpful and great at communicating.

From first contact with the Nord clinic rep Ruta, regarding a possible gall bladder removal I was treated with the upmost respect and care.
It was explained to me that I could apply for S2 route funding from the NHS if I was on the waiting list for surgery, which I was.
Ruta guided me through the entire process, sending me letters supporting why I needed more urgent treatment than the 18 month waiting list my local health board could provide.
I had a few easy forms to submit to my health board and I got a decision within a week!
From being diagnosed with acute cholecystitis to surgery was less than two months!
I paid just under half the cost myself and NHS paid the rest with a certificate I gave to hospital on arrival.
The care and facilities in Lithuania are incredible, everyone spoke good English and explained the procedures beforehand and answered all questions.
The room I was allocated had everything I needed for my nights stay, even a toothbrush and toothpaste!
You are collected from the airport and taken to all appointments if in another hospital and taken back to your apartment.
The surgery was excellent and I was very impressed how small and neat the incisions were.
I was walking into the old town by day 3.
It’s been two weeks today since I had the operation and I feel fantastic, no pain, the scars are healing wonderfully and the clinic has already checked in with me twice since I’ve been home to make sure I’m ok.
I would not hesitate to recommend nord for any procedure, I seen a lot of people having hips, knees, bariatric and aesthetics and everyone appeared to be well looked after and happy.

I can’t say enough good about my experience. It was so much more than I was expecting and that’s always a good thing in my opinion. The people at NordClinic were kind and sincere except for one driver. If he drives you, you’ll know it’s him unless he wakes up and realises what his job is.
Professor Maleckas is so there for his patients. He called the night before my surgery to explain what would happen and any risks involved. He, also, came to see us after our surgeries. He is probably the kindest and least arrogant surgeon I’ve ever met or had work on me. It was my birthday and he arranged for flowers for me. They were delivered by some of the staff on our floor. I turned 70 that day and the roses, the surgery and the staff at the clinic made it super special.
In my opinion, you can’t go wrong in choosing Nord Bariatric Clinic for your weight loss surgery. I am more pleased than I can say. Everything is explained and written for you so you don’t have remember it. When you’re 70, this is a good thing! Choose this clinic you won’t be sorry!!

I had a gastric bypass and lap chole done on the 3/6/24. I travelled from Ireland. From my first enquiry to discharge the service has been impeccable. I felt safe, cared for and reassured throughout. I had a gastric bypass 11 May 24, the facilities were excellent, the level of care was amazing, no complications or problems post op.

I am starting week 4 post operative, I know exactly what I can eat, what medications to take and what exercise I can do. The team have made it all so straightforward.

I recently underwent an inguinal hernia operation with Nordbariatric – my second operation with them in two years.
I cannot fault the service that they provide. They were always quick to respond to my queries when arranging the surgery and helped me with funding through the NHS. While out in Kaunas the staff were professional, friendly and kept me informed of the process.

I arrived back to the UK yesterday evening from my time in the beautiful Kaunas Lithuania.
My gallbladder removal surgery was completed last Friday by Dr Albertas Dauksa at the Nordclinic.

From my initial enquiry email to returning home my experience has been top class. Julija my dedicated logistics operator was amazing. Patient to all my many many email questions which were sensitively answered.

The clinic team were also very kind and welcoming. Meeting Dr Dauksa was a pleasure, he too was very patient and offered understandable explanations.

I met many patients who had returned to Nordclinic for other surgeries following a successful first operation.

I feel very lucky to have been in the position for this to have been an option and for me the surgery has been life changing.
