The whole experience of dealing with Nord clinic from the very beginning was so easy and stress free. Their reps are so knowledgeable and quick with their responses (shout out to Julija!)
Once arriving at the clinic, every member of staff you encounter is so friendly, Professional and helpful.
If you are Irish and are travelling and availing of the cross boarder directive, they have everything organised to a T! They know all the forms that are needed and you don’t even have to ask! Once they know you’re doing the CBD, they just give you everything you need from their side (regarding CBD, just remember to keep receipts for everything!! Literally everything!! Groceries!! Bag drop off receipts at the airport!! Everything!)
The nurses taking care of you post op are the best! They’re so kind and friendly and caring.
Everything was fantastic. I would highly recommend Nord Clinic to anyone!

My experience at the Nord Clinic from start to finish has been amazing. The care in the clinic was outstanding and Professor Maleckas truly is a wonderful surgeon and caring man. My rep Emilija from the beginning of my journey was a constant source of help and understanding and she and the logistics team truly made the experience seamless. I cannot fault Nordbariatrics, their care was excellent. I especially want to thank nurse Karolina as she went above and beyond in her post operative care. I will be choosing Nords for any future procedures needed. Also shout out to Ruta, who was always there to answer questions and organise the finer details.

Going abroad for surgery is daunting, but with Nords i felt confident as they were professional, helpful and knowledgeable from the very first communication. I joined the Facebook group and spoke to other people who were having or had surgery and everyone said the same. No regrets. I’m just over 2 weeks post op, my stitches have healed, I feel amazing, and my recovery has been smooth. Not once have I had a negative thought and still can’t quite believe how smooth the whole process was from my collection from the airport, to my flight back and beyond. Thank you Nords and in particular the wonderful surgeon, Professor Maleckas, your expertise, temperament and skill have given so many people a new lease of life. Many thanks also to Rūta for the excellent communication throughout, and the staff in the clinic who were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Overall, the whole experience was more than I could have expected..

I Went for the Gastric Bypass in Jan 2024, Everything was Successful the Team were amazing from the Customer Service Advisor to the nurses and Surgeon you can’t fault them. The amount of services they provide to make sure your well looked after made the whole experience that bit easier and would highly recommend going with them if you are considering you won’t regret it.

Absolutely brilliant service from beginning to end. Lovely team to work with from receptionist, drivers, nurses and surgeons. So pleased I’ve decided to change my life for the better. If in doubt don’t be and just do it

I had a fantastic experience at the Nord clinic. The standard of care from all members of staff was exemplary. I was kept informed of what was happening at all stages of my treatment and felt confident that every member of staff had my safety and comfort as their main priority.

I stayed at the Nord apartments, which were clean, warm and comfortable. Having a driver to take me back and forth to the clinic was so helpful. Everything was well organised and all I had to do was focus on my procedure and the recovery.

All of this was provided at an unbelievably good price, particularly in comparison to private care in the UK. I would recommend Nord to anyone considering bariatric surgery.

I must say that my experience at Nordbariatric was very positive. My own story was I had arranged for a gastric bypass here in the UK but due to circumstances it had to be postponed. I did not want to wait as I had started dieting and preparing for time off work. I contacted Nord and they did their best to fit me in more or less at the same time as my UK surgery was scheduled. The whole experience was made easy with Nord's care when I arrived in Kaunus. Airport transfers and great accommodation at Nord's apartments was seamless. Staying at the apartments and sharing experiences with other patients was helpful I found even it it was just getting local knowledge on shops etc. The apartments are clean and comfortable and are comparable to a 4 star hotel room in the UK. The clinic is just a short shuttle ride from the apartments and the logistics team message you when your time to be picked up is so you don't have to worry about travelling which is the same when it's time to head back to the airport. At the clinic I found the level of care very high with the nurses regularly checking up on us patients pre and post op. The surgery itself was smooth and for myself only a bit uncomfortable post op but had great care and advice to take home with me. I'm 2 weeks post op and feeling great. I'm losing weight and feel that the surgery is an important tool to help me manage my weight and the new me. Thank you so much everyone at Nord's. The surgery may seem expensive but compared to private treatment in the UK the saving is over 50%. I will not hesitate to recommend Nord's to friends and family

The team at Nordbariatric were absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. From the very first email I sent they have been there to answer every question(no matter how weird or irrational some of my questions were).I had all my questions answered and all the information I could need and they still waited patiently while i went and researched and contacted other clinics to compare and make sure Nords was the team for me...They proved to absolutely be the team for me and after all my research and contact with other clinics(in various places in Lithuania and further afield) they were there waiting and ready to roll when I contacted them to say I had made my decision and was choosing their team.My time in Lithuania was fantastic and the care I received from all involved was exceptional. The girls at the desk in the clinic, the nurses in clinic and on the ward, the Professor all couldn't possibly be nicer, more knowledgeable and caring. Even the logistics team of drivers who pick you up at the airport and shuttle you to and from clinic etc are lovely people and some are downright hilarious!!! I couldn't recommend Nordbariatric highly enough. If members of my own immediate family were looking for a team and surgeon I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving them in the hands of anyone only this team.

Genuinely could not fault the Nords clinic in Lithuania for my gallbladder removal surgery. The service and experience from everyone there has been incredible and nothing has been a hassle for them.

I made the decision to go to Lithuania for gallbladder removal due to having gallstones. They were caused by pregnancy. I was advised during my pregnancy my gallbladder would be removed by march 2024, 1 year exactly from giving birth. After calling the nhs to chase up my referral I was actually waiting over 1 year just speak to a surgeon to “deem” if I need my gallbladder removed even through i’ve had an ultrasound and advised by my own GP it’s what was needed . They went on to say I would wait a further 84 weeks for removal so was expected to be on strong painkillers for the foreseeable which simply isn’t an option with a baby and returning to work in a few months.
I’ve had numerous trips to A&E during extreme gallbladder attacks and each time after waiting 7+ hours was just sent home because my infections weren’t severe enough. On the final trip to A&E they simply told me they will not remove the gallbladder until I turn yellow, so basically stop coming round.
It got to the point a GP suggested going private which I advised was impossible to afford in the UK at 9K+ & a maternity wage !

After thorough research I chose Nords as it came with so many good reviews. It was also part of the S2 NHS England funding (before brexit) and Irish healthcare funding due to the long waiting times in both countries. After talking with the clinic I was booked to go within two weeks

After my surgery the Nords clinic advised I had chronic cholecysitis which had become worse from waiting to be treated and my gallbladder was filled with stones.
I genuinely can’t get over the high level of service.

If there’s anyone living with extreme pain I would honestly highly recommend this clinic. I have genuinely spent the last year feeling horrific and these last two weeks without my gallbladder I have felt amazing. I’ve not had to take pain relief, I have so much energy and I can actually eat!

It was a big decision to go abroad and have my Hiatus Hernia operation, after struggling with severe pain and discomfort for several years. But the whole experience from communication, meeting at the airport and the clinic was truly amazing. All the staff at Nord Clinc were super professional and caring.Meet lots of amazing British patients, some returning with family members to have various surgical procedures, we all wished we had found this clinic sooner. It’s 3 weeks since my surgery and I feel great, have to keep reminding myself not to do too much until I’m fully healed. My Professor did an amazing job. Thank you.

I had my experience with Nords on the 14th of October 2023, an amazing team, all English speaking, all very professional and extremely caring, Top class surgeon and team, I was looked after extremely well, the clinic was second to none, would highly recommend, you won’t find better service.

Wow... Service was fantastic. I recently had a gastric bypass done at this clinic. Staff were amazing, all spoke English and were very chatty. Very professional service, was collected at the airport. So clean, entire trip was amazing . Surgery went well, was given plenty of advise and encouragement. They accommodate you I'm luxury apartment and collect you from the door.
Added bonus,if you pass certain criteria you get most of your money back from the tax office. Benefits of being in Europe people.
I would highly recommend this clinic. My sister is a medical professional of 30 years, she visited me there. Said it was one of the most efficient and best ran place she had ever seen.
Clinic is in a lovely city as well, there's a lidl 5 min walk from the accommodation as well as a huge shopping centre. Everyone so friendly

I had a gastric bypass at Nords on 18 October. I chose the clinic because of the Professor and the clinics reputation. From contacting them, I found them really helpful and communicative. I was collected at the airport, taken to my hotel and logistics transferred me to and from the clinic for preops, the op and again post op to my hotel really positive overall experience which I would recommend to anyone considering this weight loss journey

Really just to echo all the positive comments from other patients.
From initial contact to being taken to the airport for flight home it was seamless. Other than packing my suitcase they could not have been more helpful.
Extremely professional and competent on every level. Friendly and helpful.
I read reviews before deciding to risk proceeding and was suspicious that the reviews were doctored (pardon the pun ) or selective. No they are not.
Met a number of patients in my week stay and without exception they all said the same things.
Not really fair to single out any one person but Julija in customer services was exceptional. Thank you all. 100% happy to recommend the hospital.

I would highly recommend Nord hospital, I had partial thyroidectomy, I travelled from Ireland, I was very nervous but was well looked after, I had a nurse call every day, inn the apartments they are on floor 3, on floor 4 is the plastic surgery hospital and floor 5 and a gp service, it was so comforting to know care was so near if I needed but all went really well, all pick ups from the airport, pre op, to surgery back to accommodation, to checkups. I am so happy from start to finish and I had questions when back home, I emailed and was responded to very quickly, I will still be on the waiting list for another year here to have surgery, I can now eat food without choking and sleep better without pressure on my wind pipe thank you to my surgeon Dr Albertas Dauksâ

There isn't one thing that made my experience great. Everything from start to finish was 5*. Communication, every email, every question was answered promptly. Travel, from collection at airport to pick up each day was communicated clearly and efficiently. PreOp, consultation with Consultant, pre op tests all arranged for me. Surgery, all ran smoothly and professionally. Post surgery, after care was brilliant, the two nights in hospital gave me time to recuperate, nurses were available 24/7 within seconds, pain relief, anti sickness, sleeping tablets etc were administered promptly. Follow up (5 days), after release from hospital to my apartment, a nurse called daily, if I did not answer the door, the clinic called my mobile to do a welfare check. I went for bloods (results in 15 minutes) every day to check on infection markers, again all transport ran like clockwork. Leaving Lithuania travel was vip, bags carried into airport and assisted travel all the way home.
