Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service, I placed an order online and I was sent the wrong item. Due to their incompetence I had to either drive 30 miles to their store or make a trip to the post office. Why should I, I’m also in poor health is why I opted to order online, be inconvenienced because of their mistake, that’s very poor customer service. I order from Ulta frequently and they have much better customer service and have never messed up an order. Nordstrom customer service associates aren’t helpful either other than offering insincere apologies. Nordstrom used to be a great company, but I can see from other reviews that others have had similar experiences as well.

They charge luxury prices but ship like a discount site. $200 heels thrown in a box, no tissue, no protection, nothing. Laughable.
Disappointing Experience
I had high expectations for Nordstrom, but my recent visit was a huge letdown.The store was chaotic, with messy displays and disorganized racks.The customer service was also lacking. the staff seemed too busy to assist, and when I did get help, it was unhelpful and inattentive. To top it off, the quality of some items didn’t match the high prices.Definitely not the shopping experience I expected from such a reputed brand.

Terrible quality!! I ordered a pyjama set and the back seam was completely crooked. I emailed a picture and they are making me pay to send it back. Seriously? You send me a defective product that I paid to ship and are expecting me to pay to return it? I have also had to other pyjama sets. While I love the material and comfort they fall apart very easy. I’m done with this company.

Beware! It’s unfortunate a company like Nordstrom is allowed to be operating. I received an item that I thought I was getting a 78% discount on. Turns out, Nordstrom had overpriced the item by $300 than what the brand name had priced on their website, as well as other dept stores. I gave Nordstrom the benefit of the doubt until I looked up 2 other items and saw the same issue. When I called Nordstrom to inquire about it… they were less than honest. They said that the brand named website, and other dept stores, had the item priced wrong. Sad. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Nordstrom closing down in the near future. They are obviously looking for ways to bring in money… it’s sad they try to do it by trying to deceive their shoppers.
Do not order from the UK
Awful experience. Ordered 3 wedding dresses to be delivered to the UK with a £10 shipping fee. Sent 2 back in the same parcel and they initially only credited 1 and said only 1 was returned. In the meantime I had initiated a return for the third dress but not sent it back. They however refunded me for that despite having not recieved it! Only when I pointed out that they had clearly received 2 dresses, else why would they have refunded the other dress, did they refund the second one....with no mention of their error in refunding the third one!!! So through pure incompetence their end they have refunded me 3 dresses despite only actually receiving 2. Happy days you'd think... except the £48 PER ITEM return fee they deducted will still see me out of pocket even if I manage to sell the other dress on ebay. Never again!!!!!!
Just another negative review
Just a quick background. I worked for Nordstrom for 10 years, a few of which as pacesetter. Which is why I’ve always given them my business beyond my employment since I know the customer service that was DRILLED into me. However over the last few years, seeing multiple stores shutdown and customer service deteriorating, but the Nordstrom brothers still needing their most recent Rolexes, customer service has fallen even further, & significantly. I’ve talked with 2 customer service reps about my missing order to which I was told by both that they “have proof”that my order was delivered, but both haven’t sent any “proof” of.
This has been my first order in 15 years that was “stolen” without, even my doorbell camera catching the delivery OR the “steal”, I feel like this is just another grasp at trying to level out loss prevention… at any rate this review is to just say that I will never again order from Nordstrom as their business practices are no longer directed towards their customer service.
All this to say; Nice to know ya, embarrassed to claim I’ve worked for ya.

Kate Spade missing an included Kate Spade Dust Bag
I ordered two Kate Spades Glimmer Satchel. The first & last time ordering outside of Kate Spade. Well, one of the Satchel did NOT have a Kate Spade dust bag as is stated in the Kate Spade description, dust bag is included. I called Nordstrom to advise of the issue. I was advise Nordstrom could NOT provide me the Kate Spade dust bag; however, they could send me a Nordstrom bag. Seriously!! I went on to say, you are representing Kate Spade by selling their products, yet you cannot issue a Kate Spade dust bag? The representative was cold & unemphatic to my issue. How dare you offer me a Nordstrom dust bag for a Kate Spade product. A total disrespect to Kate Spade!! Totally absurd! I did call Kate Spade Supervisor & advised of the issue with Nordstrom & they are working on it but my point is, if you are selling a product that isn't your product, the very least you can do is offer some type of remedy (outside of a Nordstrom dust bag) to correct the situation. For example, Nordstrom reaching out to Kate Spade instead of me having to do it. I will NEVER go outside of Kate Spade no matter the cost. Incidentally, the Kate Spade Satchel is not for me but a gift.
Customer service is not existent.
My package was lost in the process of returning it. Even though the issue was outside of my control, Nordstrom asked me to sort it out with the courier, while the courier asked me to sort it out with the seller (Nordstrom). I sent all the information to Nordstrom, and they still would not help me resolve the issue. I am not shopping with them again, and would not recommend it.

Ordered a Christmas gift off here for my girlfriend. Got an email saying they delivered it but no sign of delivery. Sent an email to follow up and they said they were unable to deliver my item and to wait 30 days for a refund. It's been around 50 days now since they said it had been delivered. No refund yet and when I email to ask for an update I'm told to wait another 30 days. What a joke.

Costly item said delivered. I came to find out that DHL never delivered, probably running late, and just wrote "return to sender" so as not to be penalized for his inability to deliver packages.
Nordstrom's customer service is useless, rude, gave no resolution, and refused to return my money. I was a customer for 20 years, and I promise I will not order from them again. Nordstrom get you **** together.
