Shipping to NZ

If you’re ordering to New Zealand, expect the shipping of your product to take almost 30 days. It shouldn’t take multiple weeks to ship a product anywhere in the world in 2025, especially when paying over $50NZD for express shipping.
This is shocking service and the tracking doesn’t update until you follow up with support.

I read online that they ship to a ‘depot’ in the US and then on to the country of delivery.

One star included because the customer service was pleasant.

I leave in south Miami and shop at the Aventura store and I use the app to purchase all my items for pickup that store never has the items ready it does not matter when I place the order they have to be the worst store for curbside pickup they should look into this matter because they suck especially if you are waiting for the item for a gift I keep complaining but they don’t care

Liars and cheats

I ordered a set a pajamas for my wife for Christmas. The Nordstrom site clearly stated that it would be delivered by Christmas. After I purchased the item, the delivery date changed to December 29th. Nordstrom apparently uses some crap delivery service called OnTrac. Well these morons somehow mis-sorted the item and it’s now lost somewhere. I cannot stress enough the level of incompetence and greed exhibited by Nordstrom. They told me the item would be delivered by Christmas because they wanted my money. After they got my money, they changed the date. Then, they use the cheapest delivery service available to save money. Now I have to contact those idiots and try to work something out.

Nordstrom doesn't handle their e-gift cards now

I have been ordering Nordstrom e-gift cards for my brother and his spouse for over 20 years. I've probably spent between $12-15,000 dollars over this time period. I will not be ordering more. I first selected use my own photographs (of them) so as I've done in the past, I did a gift card with my brother's picture and another for his spouse and paid by PayPal. While I received an ititial e-mail from PayPal, another indicated it could not be processed and that email that had Nordstrom's name on the address.

When I called them (Nordstrom's customer service), I was on hold for quite a while (maybe 20 minutes). They gave me another telephone number for the 'other' Nordstrom department, and that number was (855) 793-8451. I resubmitted the purchase with standard Nordstrom (no pictures) e-gift cards and received a similar email (and it was put on a credit card) that it could not be processed. Then I Googled that telephone number and it belongs to Cashstar (which I believe is owned by a company called Blackstar).

I stopped buying Dunkin Donuts gift cards several years back as I experienced a similar problem (and had purchased over $100/year for over a decade. I haven't seen as abundance of good reviews for Cashstar. I can't speak to what a company believes they are saving by outsourcing such purchases but both of them will not be seeing any more of my business. It doesn't speak well of a company which associates with a company with poorly rated customer service.

Horrid service!!!!

How I wish that I had read reviews. I grew up with the original Nordstroms in Seattle, and they made a mark with excellent service. Wow, has it changed. HORRID service, the Nordstrom family would roll over in their grave to see what has become of a once notable retail store. Do not shop there!!!!

I made an online order from Canada to…

I made an online order from Canada to have delivered to a gift recipient in Los Angeles. The product was available when it was ordered. Six days after making the order I am informed by email the order is cancelled because it was sold out, leaving me no time to get a replacement gift sent in time for Christmas.

Amazing styling by Halle!

Absolutely amazing experience earlier this week that I have continued to think about. It was my first time being styled and Halle blew me away! She is the sweetest person ever, extremely understanding and she gave me a lot of outfits that helped inspire a look for me. I'm very grateful that she was so quick to respond and met all of my needs. Very satisfied with the outcome, and went along with all of my visions, thanks again!

Disappointed

The delivery of items SUCKS. They send u the wrong items and you never receive your correct items, if u do, it will take another 2 weeks. I hate this store and their deliveries. No compensation for your inconvenience, all u hear is " I'm sorry" yes me too.

I ordered a gift for Christmas…

I ordered a gift for Christmas (Birkenstock slippers) and Nordstrom sent the product in a product box that was falling apart and in terrible condition. Knowing that it is the Christmas shopping season, and people are ordering gifts, this is such poor customer service and terrible quality control. Purchase from them at your own risk, knowing that they don’t care about the presentation of the products they sell. I plan to let Birkenstock know that this is how Nordstrom is delivering their products to customers.

My horrible experiences have been with…

My horrible experiences have been with customer service both on the phone and by email, not with products or in-store purchases. They put me on hold for long periods of time (20+ minutes) and then hung up, more than 2 times. No call backs. When I responded by email then, they told me they knew my problem and had to verify me on the phone to correct the issue. That just led to a series of other people who didn't know, put me on hold, passed the buck.......and nobody solved the problem....in 7 hours of emails and phone calls. Glad there are other options for shopping.

I can’t rate zero stars or I would, not only did the item say delivered to my mailbox and didn’t arrive, but when I contacted “Nordstrom” they said they were “reviewing” my order and would respond to it in 1-2 business days! This was weeks ago! If you enjoy not getting items you paid 150$ for and being ignored when you ask the whereabouts of said item/items, then this is by far the best place to shop! I’m appalled, the lack of professionalism or service just goes to show why I won’t be wasting any more money on this site!

I was a loyal Nordstrom customer for…

I was a loyal Nordstrom customer for years, but this experience was unacceptable. My order was carelessly left in the mail room, stolen shortly after, and despite submitting a police report and full documentation, Nordstrom refused to correct their mistake.

They also shared incorrect details with my bank, which directly led to my claim being denied. I spent hours trying to resolve this by phone and email with zero accountability.
This company failed to protect my delivery, my money, and my trust.

This company promises great customer…

This company promises great customer service, but is not pulling through on their promise. Last night an on trak delivery person woke me up at 9 pm to deliver a damaged box with damaged cosmetics.
Now I have to go to return everything to get a refund. Such a let down that they don't seem to monitor their delivery process and deliver in such an unprofessional and truly disgusting way.

One Star Shipping Experience

I love Nordstrom and have shopped for years but its takes forever when ordering an item. The item NEVER arrives on time, no communication on ship date, and you cant cancel the order if it takes too long. Even with ship to store! I have taken breaks and only ordered couple times this year and got so impatient I went to different location to purchase. This was when I lived in DMV. Now that Im in NC had to order a birthday present. Nothing has changed.

I have ordered from other places Nike, Dicks even Academy Sports in the last 6 months and orders arrived on time, every time. They give you an estimated arrival date when orders are placed, and it arrives on that date. And wasn't ship to store. I recently ordered from Nike in Va, had it shipped to Durham NC. Whole process took 4 days. I ordered this item from Nordstrom 3 days ago, only says delivery date nothing else,no delivery status, no option to cancel. This is my last time.

Customer Service is not what it used to be.

I went to Nordstrom to buy gifts for my dons. The selection of sizes is so haphazard. When checking out, I had t brought my Nordstrom Card. Usually they have no problem finding your account if you give them your drivers license. The person checking menu didn’t know how to find it so she asked “Paul” to help. He was having trouble and said usually my customers bring their cards. I promptly took my license back, gave them a credit card and said that was a rude comment. Way to make me feel bad. Paul needs better training.

I was very unhappy with Jonathan. He is working at customer service department at Nordstrom located downtown Seattle. He was rude, disrespectful, unpleasant and unprofessional.
