Placed an deposit. Was stated lead time is 6-8 weeks. They visited and measured windows. Finally sent me a quote and the lead time was 9 weeks. Had to cancel the order because of this, and received deposit minus fees for 'survey'. Now pursuing legal action. No terms and conditions supplied when placing the order. Beware. Ask for full terms and conditions before paying any deposit.

Updated based on reply from Norrsken: You state that you had 'explained' that part of the deposit was non-refundable. You HADN'T. At no point were any terms or conditions provided or it was stated that any part of the deposit is non-refundable. This is unlawful under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, based on a legal advice I have received now. If you can provide evidence that I was provided this information, I will withdraw this comment.

A stone thrown up while strimming our lawn edges shattered the middle one of our three sliding door windows. Having been very pleased with the windows since their installation less than twelve months ago, we were keen to use Ami and Jo at Norrsken to project manage the commissioning and installation of the replacement window. Having resisted the attempts by our insurer, Aviva, to browbeat us into using their experts, we were fully vindicated in sticking to our guns and using Norrsken. The quality of our sliding door windows, the response times and reliable support from Ami and Jo, plus the professional approach adopted by the team who installed the replacement window, confirm our view that Norrsken is a well managed outfit worthy of a strong recommendation to prospective customers.

I ordered something fairly custom: triple glazed windows that look like sash windows but actually open like an ordinary window. This was cheaper than sash windows and offers better insulation. All five of them are beautifully made and provide whole new level of heat and acoustic insulation.

I used Norrsken in 2016 for my new build house. The service I received was excellent especially Ami who was very thorough on everything she did. The windows were good value for money and are working well. When we used them they didn’t have a particularly good selection of window handles but that may have changed now. If I have any issues they resolve them extremely quickly, baring in mind I live in Kent and they are based in Dorset.

For our self-build garden studio project, we have reached out quite a few well-known window companies and Norrsken came on top for their exceptional customer service, prompt response and most importantly cost of the triple pane windows with an amazing u-value.

Tim was very knowledgable and gave impartial advise on specifying our 2m x 1m windows. I felt very comfortable talking to Norrsken team especially Tim and Ami. After singing on the dotted line and deposits paid, windows were delivered on time as promised. Windows were installed by us following advise from their technical team.

Glazing solution from Norrsken do not disappoint you. Aluminium Clad Timber frame is faultless. I would highly recommend this company.

Norrsken is a great company to deal with. From start to finish the customer service is fantastic. The product is very well produced. We had a variety of windows, full-size windows and 2 large sliding doors. All triple glazed. Fantastic. Builders were impressed too. Marju was brilliant to deal with.

I met Alex Alsop in one of the homebuilding shows in London. We visited the show as we were building our new house from scratch. We were very impressed by Norrsken's Aluminium clad oak windows. Alex was knowledgable, practical and honest.

Later on we visited their showroom in Poole, Dorset. We decided Norrsken as our supplier and installer. We had excellent service from Norrsken in supplying, delivering and installing our windows, bifold doors and patio doors.
The windows and doors are stunning, excellent quality and practical. I do not have any hesitation in recommending Norrsken to other prospective customers

The team at Norrsken couldn't be more helpful and honest from the very first contact to even after the installation. The windows and doors are amazing. They have the look and feel of quality and excellent workmanship. For our self build, with the help and technical advice from Marju in sales, we opted for a mixture of fixed and outward opening triple glazed units with an anthracite (and a few bright orange) ally clad exterior with pale grey painted wood inside...a hard choice as there were so many colours, finishes and designs to choose from, but we're totally delighted. Norrsken also went above and beyond in helping us navigate the complexities of UK building regs regarding our choices.

From sales to delivery the company and staff were easy to deal with and everything went to plan .

Norsken are a very professional company from start to finish. They have a high end product at a competitive price backed up with a first class service. I was reluctant to pay in full prior to delivery as you hear so many stories of companies once they have taken your money you have great difficulty getting to deal with any issues that arise.

We built a brand new house in 2015 and had all windows and doors built by Norrsken. Each and every one is excellent in every way. The quality is superb and the service is exceptional. We have had a problem with the stunningly crafted front door due to the fact that it is an extremely tall door (2.4 metres) and oak does swell and shrink with the seasons. Norrsken have come out every time to make adjustments with a smile and a thank you. I would recommend them highly.
