I ordered two of the remote door openers. Both same stock number. One came with a small form factor 1.5 in W, 3 H, 0.5 D. I bought a second as I thought the form factor would be great for my wife. The second, same stock number was bulky 2.25W, 3.5 H, 0.75 D. Manufacturer had changed. The directions for setup failed to address the shunt to change from 9 to 12 digit transmit code. So a call for customer service was required. Friendly & Courteous, but a time killer. Otherwise they both work great.

I ordered 2 packages of magnetized faux hinges.
Each package was described as having 4 hinges in each package.
Upon receiving them I found 1 package to have the advertised 4 pieces. But the other only contained 3 pieces.
I emailed the North Shore Commercial Door Co. But never heard back from them.

I sent a email for help in what type of garage door remote I needed. Matt got back to me quickly and told me what I needed. Great place to order from !

They went to all the trouble of making a video as our old remote is very different than the new one. With that explanation I knew I was purchasing the correct remote. Great company to do business with.

There's not much to say, the process was easy, fast and they offered a wide variety of very specific parts at a great price. I know who I will come back to for specific garage door pieces.

They shipped me the completely wrong part. When I contacted them about it, it took 3 days to get an RMA number - no apology for the hassle, no offer to expedite the correct part - just an RMA as if I had ordered the wrong thing. It took three follow-up emails to every email address I could find for them to get them to send me the right part.

I get it - mistakes happen. We're all so used to excellent customer service (prompt responses, immediate correction of errors) that when a company sells online and doesn't prioritize customer service well, it really stands out. I suspect that this company does better over the phone than online.

The online info was accurate and complete. I'd buy from them again only if I couldn't find the same part elsewhere.

Ordered 10 pack of garage door rollers. One roller was binding. Did not roll easily. After contact a new roller was immediately sent.
