DO NOT BOOK HERE

I was booking flight tickets on Norwiegan’s website, where the flight to my destination was a transit flight and the return was a direct flight. A day after I had payed I realized that I my return flight had been changed to a transit flight that lasted an extra 8 hours! On top of that it would be at night, where we would have an intermediate landing, which means that security is closed and you are stuck in the arrival's hall at least in the airport, we were at.
There was never a mail or anything that pointed out the fact that I had not booked the ticket I had initially payed for.

I called Norwiegan’s customer service to ask why my return flight had been changed.
The first lady I talked to said it was because When you book a round trip you will only be able to book flights that either are direct or transit, so she told me to cancel my return flight and book a “one-way-trip” home, and then book the direct flight. I canceled led the return flight, and then tried to book the direct flight home. That was not possible.

So I called Norwiegan’s customer service again and the second lady I talked to said it was because the tickets was sold-out.

I think something most people will agree with is that booking flight tickets are an hectic process, and it is pretty repulsive to have booked a flight and then Norwiegan changes its course after you have bought the tickets WITHOUT notice. I could have checked my flight a day later and I would not have been able to cancel the flight.

After this trip, my family and I will never be using Norwiegan again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

NORWEGIAN BANK SHAME ON YOU!
Never have I seen an company so inflexible and down right no empathy or regards for there customer and the circumstances the world is in.
I borrow some money and 1. The interest rates are so high and unreasonable to the border greedy.
2. In the month and followin month we have be struggling a lot with covid-19. I as so many other with buisnesslife have economical problem in these hard times. Norwigian offered very little support or flexibility to to try and u derstand this and offers almost none compassion or understanding when facing problem paying bills.
When I borrowed the money was very easy and alsmot just a press of button on my phone.
I offered severely suggestions to solve my finance problem and flexibility 1-3 month and the answer was "NO". Only a letter that they will send me to incasso.
Lucky I found another company that will cover all my dept at Norwigian and I will NEVER RECOMMEND ANY to take up any loans in this company. No matter how desperate they are. First try look and see if there is other solutions.
The whole "norway." "Bank" seems to have an ugly pattern after them. Even there own bank won't help there own fly company. They should be ashame about them self. AGAIN try read carefully there agreements before pressing yes to borrow money at Norwigian bank.
My recommendation is DONT BORROW MONEY FROM THEM.....THE ARE ONLY THINKING OF THEM SELF
Regards
Oscar

C-Virus

given the C-Virus situation one would think that Norweigen regardless of ticket type, would for the sake of good customer service and good will , that they would offer customers solutions , but no , just rude response , will never fly Norweigen again . In this extreme situation they clearly do not value their customers nor their safety !!!!!!

Hi Marie,

Should any rules change we will update our customers via email and you can also check our updates and information regarding flights here
Our flights are operating as normal and standard ticket conditions continue to apply. As mentioned to you several times, we will not issue you a refund or free rebooking and no exceptions will be made, and that is final.

Best Regards,
Marley

I had booked a flight to Rom and afterwards I could not get vacation so I had to cancel my flight. But I did not get my money back because the tickets were not refundable which was not described when I booked.

Very disappointing.

This is by far the most expensive cheep airline…

This is by far the most expensive cheep airline out there. Food is terrible and staff is by far the rudest people on planet. I do understand that they are on the lower side of the food chain in aviation but that dose not give them the right to treat customers like dirt.
Now if u lose something they plain u will not see it back for sure. After they were late leaving Sweden to Norway, they rushed us to next fight. I realized my headphones were left behind and i asked a staff member from Norwegian to go look for them quickly. I was given the following answer and i quote: we (she sad I) don't care about your headphones as we are late leaving Oslo... Contacting they customer service was biggest waste of time ever...i was told we dont clean the plane so its not our problem... amazing!!!
So if u can avoid them like a plague... not worth the stress to save money, U will be spending it on things to recover from they flights and service.

I have normally been relative happy…

I have normally been relative happy with Norwegian as a frequent traveller. fair prices and fair service. But today I had a different experience. I was late and had to change my flight, and I paid double price for the new ticket, which are the conditions and as such OK. I checked in from hotel with my app and after checking in my host gave me two bottles of wine as a gift. Luckily I had good time to check in my small bag in the airport. However I could not change my check details in from my app and when I came to the counter Norwegian would charge me 600 kr for checking in a very small bag containing two bottles of wine! Even I fly Norwegian abort twice week and hold a bunch of mileage points. The company just utilise their strong position towards mine. I am just happy there are other air line flying on my most common destinations.
