Beware of this prop firm

Beware of this prop firm despite the cheap prices!

I’ll be brief: I don’t want anyone reading this to get scammed as well!!

If you look through their Trustpilot page from time to time, you’ll see a flood of short positive reviews. These are all written by their own people—these are not genuine opinions! For real reviews, look at the 1-star ratings.

They claim they answer every question and find a solution to every problem, yet I emailed them in two different places a week and a half ago and they didn’t even bother to reply. They reject withdrawals with various excuses, on Discord they ban you if your question has a negative tone, the spread is terrible, and their server is unusable. I gave them many chances, but they didn’t deserve any of them.

First, regarding the positive reviews:
We do **not** write our own Trustpilot reviews. Traders often leave short reviews after receiving payouts or resolving an issue, which can sometimes create a sudden wave of positive posts. Trustpilot also verifies users, so fake accounts wouldn’t pass their filters. Still, you’re right that 1-star reviews should be taken seriously — and we do take them seriously.

On the support issue:
You’re absolutely right that waiting a week and a half for a reply is not acceptable. During the last round of server changes, support was overwhelmed, and response times dropped far below our standard. That’s not an excuse — it’s simply the reason. We agree this needs to improve, and we’ve already expanded the support team to prevent this from happening again.

About payout rejections:
We never reject a withdrawal without providing the exact rule that was triggered. If you feel your payout was wrongly declined, please send your **account ID and ticket number** to [support@nostro.co](mailto:support@nostro.co) and we’ll escalate it to compliance for a full re-review. If a mistake was made, we will fix it.

Regarding Discord bans:
Traders are **not banned for asking questions** — even negative ones. The only bans issued were during periods where misinformation or repeated false claims were spreading and causing panic among traders. Constructive criticism has always been allowed.

On spreads and server performance:
There were genuine technical issues earlier this year, especially during the MT5 migration and infrastructure upgrades. We fully acknowledge that spreads and execution were worse during that period. Those conditions have since been stabilised with the new servers and liquidity setup.

You’re fully entitled to feel disappointed after your experience, and we’re truly sorry that we didn’t meet your expectations. If you give us your account details, we’ll look into your case properly so you get a transparent explanation — not generic answers.

We’re not here to ignore traders or hide from criticism. Your review helps us improve, and we’re willing to make things right.

Been with nostro from past 1.5 yrs , but i must say the trading conditions are absolutely trash , they came up with new problem every week and when someone complains qbout it they ban them on discord , server issues , trades are closed on mid trade , automatically locking account without any reason , spreads is like hell, customer support very poor , dash dashboard issues , very amature firm i have ever seen , dont waste your time and money with this firm just because its cheaper, just stay far from this firm , you will regret it just like me , they are talking about compensation from past 6 month but they does not gave ,

First, we’re genuinely sorry for the issues you’ve faced. Some of the points you mentioned — server instability, dashboard bugs, MT5 migration troubles — were real problems during the last few months, and we take responsibility for them. They caused inconvenience for many traders, and we understand why that would affect your trust.

Now, to clarify a few things:

• Traders are not banned from Discord for complaining. What happened is that the general chat was temporarily closed during the worst period of technical instability because false information and rumors were spreading faster than actual updates. Complaints themselves were never the issue — misinformation was.
• Account locks and mid-trade closures usually happen due to flagged risk rules or system desync, and we agree this should not happen. These issues were tied to the old server infrastructure and have been addressed with the migration.
• Spreads were affected by liquidity provider transitions — not ideal, and definitely not the experience we want traders to have.
• Compensation delays are real, and we fully acknowledge that. The migration created a verification backlog that took much longer than expected. That doesn’t excuse the delay, but it is the truth.

We’re not asking you to excuse the problems you faced — you had every right to be frustrated. What we do want to make clear is:

• The firm didn’t ignore these issues.
• The problems were the result of major infrastructure changes, not negligence.
• A lot of the issues you mentioned have already been resolved with the new servers and dashboard.
• Compensation is still being processed — not cancelled.

There comes a time that MT5 platform…

There comes a time that MT5 platform had changed but they been able to settle that one. I had waited for almost a month on their platform but all is well for now .. I thought this was a scam but nevertheless , they keep us many updates on this. I had given them 3 star as they had more space for improvements as well. Company is just starting and hoping that I can still go back and trade with them. They also given us many promos.

This statement is totally untrue. Personal situations or relationships have absolutely no connection to trading decisions, payout reviews, or account status.

No staff member — including Scott — has the power to block an account or decline a payout for personal reasons. All payout decisions are handled strictly by our compliance team and based only on the trading rules in the evaluation.

If your payout was declined, it would have been due to a rule breach flagged during the review — not because of anything happening outside the platform.

My experience so far with Nostro

Ive been in the prop firm world for a while now, and I can confidently say this is one of the best prop firm Ive ever been with. Ive successfully passed multiple challenges, and the best part is the payouts are always on time. Seriously, Ive had zero issues and absolutely no drama.

Nostro Scam Maybe

Nostro, where have you disappeared? 💔

In my opinion, Nostro Firm has scammed us. It has been almost 3 weeks and your website is still not opening. I am not submitting my account because the KYC process will become a problem if the website is down. You are also not replying to any emails explaining why your server is not working.

So for now, we have no choice but to avoid you.
If you really want to come back, then inform us through any official social media platform.
Nostro team, I need a response.

Even on your new server “NOSTRO Market,” whenever I try to log in, it keeps asking me to reset my password again and again. This issue has been happening for 3 weeks. My old and new accounts are not logging in—even on a new device. And I still haven’t received a single email reply from the Nostro team.

Everyone I asked said the same thing: your website is not opening.
If your website is working for you, then please share the link so I can check my account dashboard.

Have been with Nostro for almost a year…

Have been with Nostro for almost a year now and overall my experience has been good. I am currently in the funded stage and have received multiple payouts without issues which is the most important part for any trader.

There were some ups and downs in the beginning especially when their server went down for about a month during their migration to MT5. Previously they were using a third-party server but after shifting to their own infrastructure performance has improved a lot. Execution is smoother now and stability is much better compared to before.

No prop firm is perfect but Nostro has been heading in the right direction. As long as they maintain consistency and keep improving on the tech side, they are a solid option for traders looking to grow.
