First transaction failed

First transaction failed
Second transaction was answered by No money in the machine
And yet they took the amount 4 times of the bank account!
When we contacted them they said - sorry you have to contact your bank but only after they located the transaction in asking all questions!

Fraudsters!

Awful commission theft

As a belgian citizen we are used ( by law) in our country that every shop has to offer other payment solutions besides cash. Not in the UK for sure I understand brexit and different rules. Cashed in today at morrison notemachine 250 pounds and later I saw online that they charged 50!!! Pounds commission on such a small amount. Yes 50 pounds on a withdrawal of 250 pounds I contacted them thinking this is a scam or mistake but it seems you accept the dynamic conversion they force you to take since you don t have an alternative…better walk into a bank. What a horrible moneymaking machine it felt like a gamble machine rather than getting out your own money. Warning to people visiting UK don’t use an atm exchance money in your domestic bank

Asked £250 to be dispensed at cashpoint
Said unable to process
No money came out but did debit my bank. Notepoint are saying thier evidence is that the machine told them the money was withdrawn
Absolutely pathetic company to deal with i believe thier machibe was faulty but instead passing me off to call the police like they havent got more pressing issues
Scammers the lot of them
Im very close to sitting in reception till someone shows me this "evidence "

NoteMachine is a DREADFUL company

NoteMachine is a DREADFUL company. Last Tuesday 9th September at its ATM in Morrisons' Warminster I struggled to get my card out of the machine and watched my £50 withdrawal disappear back into the machine. I straight away called the number on the machine 0800 068 98368 only to hear a recorded message saying that they would sort the issue within 24 hours. My own excellent online bank ANNA have now told me that the issue is no longer pending and is therefore closed without my £50 being returned or credited. No word from either NoteMachine or ANNA. I provided the receipt as proof. My neighbour G has always said beware of Morrisons' NoteMachine but with Lloyds and Barclays branches gone the only remaining proper cashpoint is at the other end of the High Street outside a Building Society and I am not so sure that hasn't disappeared too. AVOID NoteMachine ATMs at all cost. I helped list early independent ATM provider CardPoint on the London Stock Exchange years ago so know well how it all works. NoteMachine is a disgrace really and Morrisons should not continue to host that company. JB.

Avoid at all costs

ATM decided not to dispense cash but Notemachine has debited my account. Notemachine display a freephone number but when called all you get is a recorded message. I’m left out of pocket while the transaction dispute is investigated but Notemachine are able to earn interest on the money they have fraudulently taken from my account. Is this is how the financial institutions add to their profits.

Liars and cheats

Big sign above machine says "FREE CASH WITHDRAWALS". But when I go to make a withdrawal it says it wants to charge me £2.95, but okay. However, it then went ahead and charged me £3.95. Dishonest and expensive.

Machine ran out of cash

Machine ran out of cash, so dispensed less than I asked for, but still registered the full amount on my bank account. Called helpline, who said it would automatically update after one hour for the shortage of funds. Never happened. Called my bank who said they need upto 45 days to investigate. They will provide me with a temporary credit refund, but may take it back. What a scam machine.

AVOID very poor service

VERY CONCERNED. Sainsburys Wolverhampton NoteMachine cashpoint. Requested withdrawal £120 transaction proceeded, paper receipt slip printed stated "money dispensed". Next screen message changed to " this service is not available please try later". Phoned bank, money was withdrawn, the return of the money was pending and would take 1-2 working days. Checked today, no money withdrawn, and no record of this transaction on my statement. So no scam, money returned, but no record at bank of what happened. I will be reporting this to trading standards. This company appear to be running all of Sainsburys cashpoints. I will be avoiding until Sainsburys change the provider.

Rip off fees

Rip off fees. Atm charges you extra rip off fees PLUS added extra currency conversion fees much higher than regular banks. Got burnt once but never again. Stay clear from these !!

Tried to use ATM at major supermarket

Tried to use ATM at major supermarket. Looked ok and nothing to indicate anything untoward. Put card in,,,screen went blank. Then powered itself down. It was running in Windows 95 (not seen that in years). Eventually screen came to life again, but wouldnt return my card. Rang the Help line. So rude and couldnt care less. I am on crutches and really dont need anymore grief. Am waiting to learn of their excuses.
Post script: The Helpline was next to useless. Blamed ME. Why would I put card in an "out of service ATM". Simply...I wouldnt. I have stopped the card. Think the "Note Machine " people need a bit of sorting out.

STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE

During my withdrawal, the Notemachine at M&S in Braehead Shopping Centre shut down, rebooted and did not dispense my cash but did debit my bank account.

I then spent time calling my bank to complete a claim form, they credited my account on the same day but reserve the right to take this back after their 15 day investigation if they feel it is not justfied.

I will now only withdraw cash from my own bank branch after this stressful experience.

Cash point fraud

morrissions two different cash machines with two different cards each took £50 out of account but didnt dispense it - reading through reviews this is standard practice for NoteMachine - have spent afternoon chasing banks and lengthy process to try and reclaim cash, don't yet know if i'll ever see it again (and expect this review probably wont get posted)
