Avoid avoid avoid. Do not get the job done and don’t handle customer complaints
With a blocked drain and a toddler at home, I just wanted the issue fixing as quickly as possible. Ran a Google search and found these who appeared to be local. Not the cheapest but the quickest to come back to me and really up front about costs. They told me £120 no VAT and someone would be there within 2 hours Max. They could not unblock the drain as they couldn’t find the manhole and didn’t bring the right tools, then proceeded to pressure my other half to pay the full £120 for a job not completed with promise to provide a receipt. We still don’t have a receipt today. We had to pay the same amount the following day to Severn Trent to do the job properly. I’ve contacted the company to dispute this payment and they won’t call me back or provide a receipt even now. Avoid avoid avoid. Terrible service, don’t get the job done and clearly not legit traders. I blame myself for not checking company registration number or asking for anything in writing.
