Nova is the worst ever company to deal…

Nova is the worst ever company to deal with they lie and repeat the same line every time nobody has the ability to make a decision. You may save a dollar but the hassle isn’t worth $100 the waste of stupid remarks by the help desk is idiotic

Tribble customer service

one of the worst customer services that I have ever got, I had both broadband and mobile with them and my broadband was down for more than 2 days , I just asked them to put some data on my mobile so I can use the internet (I work from home and very dependant to internet) I was said we cannot do that, you need to be patient or if you are not happy you can change your internet provider!! so so unprofessional

I am very disappointed with Nova…

I am very disappointed with Nova Energy’s internet service. My connection was disconnected for more than 24 hours, and despite contacting support, the issue was not fixed within a reasonable timeframe. There was poor communication throughout the outage, and no temporary solution or alternative was offered. On top of that, no compensation or goodwill offer was provided to acknowledge the inconvenience. Reliable internet is essential, and this experience fell well below expectations.

Terrible all round

Poor Wi-Fi connectivity and worse customer service while trying to get it resolved. They said they could meet my business requirements but they can't. Takes days for them to get back to you, they could not care less that their entire suite of services is sub-par.

Can't be trusted

We had new meters installed, now apparently our usage - according to their app - has been doubled!! Made a complaint last year about their app showing usage on a day that we had a whole day power outage! Whole complaint process took months and months, and each time they came up with another BS explanation. I'll be switching providers now, because Nova can't be trusted.

Another Greedy, greedy energy company.

Started out as a fair priced business. Now just turned into a greedy, greedy little business. Massive prices increases on their power, fibre broadband and mobile plans. At least monthly on power and two big prices increases on their fibre broadband and mobile plans. Bye bye Nova Energy you just got too greedy!.

I "used" all my data in 1 day when I…

I "used" all my data in 1 day when I was at home on wifi, I only left for at most 10 minutes. I have 20 GB, how do u use 20 GB driving to the shop and back? wifi is fine at home because it isn't with you! not to mention that I CANT get coverage for 80% of my trip into town! Pathetic

Poor communication!!

I did a 5 star review but with the recent couple of weeks trying to get a hold of Nova as it takes forever to wait for them to answer there phones I end up giving up and they do not reply to thier emails.
You need to up your game Nova, your customers are going to go elsewhere.

Wish I had looked at Powerswitch much sooner!

After putting it off for far too long I finally got around to looking at Powerswitch and was shocked to find the "low user" rate Nova recommended I should be on to save money, seemed to be one of the most expensive rates in NZ. Couldn't dump them fast enough. Thieves. My new rate (not with Nova) is SO MUCH LOWER.

Extremely poor service and no support

Nova Energy’s WiFi is consistently unreliable, with frequent disconnections. Despite replacing the modem/router and attempting all recommended troubleshooting steps, the issues persist.

Customer support has been unhelpful, stating they cannot assist because we are not using their provided equipment. Furthermore, they refuse to send a technician unless we pay an additional $70.

This level of service is unacceptable. The company takes no responsibility for ongoing issues and offers no real solutions unless additional fees are paid. Strongly advise avoiding this provider.

Poor customer service and charge costs that aren't yours to pay. Beware.

Wish I could do zero stars. I get a discount two times a year through wells. Nova gave me this discount on the first bill. Next bill was a normal bill but with the discount previously added as a bill for me to pay. So I didn't get a discount at all. They just charged me at a later date extra on top of my normal bill. This has happened twice and they do not care about customer service at all. They don't intend to resolve issues. They think they are right no matter what you say or how much you explain it. Never had this experience before makes me want to go back to my old providers. Also when the customer service lady wouldn't be bothered sorting it she hung up on me. I've also seen similar in reviews here. Highly do not recommend and have made sure I've told everyone I know.

Terrible service

Terrible service! Please run away and do yourself a favour, do not become a customer! Nova is a terrible company, I live in Central Auckland and have waited 4 weeks for them to connect the broadband! Really, how long does it take to be connected to broadband?

** WARNING..

** WARNING... IF YOU RENT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY *** A work colleague who is renting had to move when the rental property sold. Rang Nova to transfer same services to the new property and was told there was a $900 fee to break the 3-year contract. Just disgusting ..... they didn't mention this at sign up. As if moving isn't stressful enough.

THE WORST provider I have EVER dealt…

THE WORST provider I have EVER dealt with. We signed up to NOVA approx 6 months ago not knowing that in the next 3 months we would be selling our house and purchasing a new one less than 3 kilometers away and you told me that I had to pay $600 to "break our contract" We DID NOT WANT to break the contract, just wanted the account changed to a different address, like other providers do. Not only have you lost our business, I will be more than happy to tell EVERYONE I know how disgusting, greedy and lack of foresight your company is. No wonder you have such bad ratings. "read the fine print in your contract" your less than helpful (so called) customer service agent kept saying. PATHETIC!!!!!

Absolutely Shocking Service..

Absolutely Shocking Service... I kept getting emails asking me to read my meter saying they had not received a meter reading for my account for several months.. Problem is they were asking me to read an ICP number that I did not have... My ICP number was getting read and receiving bills... No amount of explaining seemed to work, kept getting emails and texts - at present I am "again" 5 in the queue!... I may need to hang up and carry on with my life before they answer ... "again"

If I could do minus 5 I would

If I could do minus 5 I would. This company is a joke and should not be able to operate the way they do. No other business would survive with such poor management in this world so I can’t work out how this company still operates. It has taken 3 months to sort out a smart meter which still hasn’t been done. No communication from nova at all, we have had to sit on hold for hours to get any answers. Put a complaint through their process about a month ago and still haven’t heard from anyone. Nova is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Go and pay extra at another provider because you won’t get any service through these guys.
