AVOID. lying deceitful company

Would avoid personally, i purchased a Peugeot Partner 9HX engine from them on 16th August (Dominic Ferry, apparently an engine specialist). An engine was delivered on 18th August but it wasnt what i ordered. It was a Ford Fiesta engine, all engine numbers grounded off and all engine code stickers removed. Rang to confirm it was 100% the engine was lied to multiple times on the phone by Ross promising me it was the correct engine. And that if it wasnt he would collect free of charge as im well within my 30 day warranty. Also under the consumer act 2015 i have been sold something which has been misdescribed and its not down to me to pay to return it. However after then speaking to Tony to confirm they had left the Ford clutch & Ford engine mount on it he said i had to return it.
Have emailed multiple times now to be ignored even though im within my rights to cancel period of 14 days. They dont want to know, even offered them to not collect and either send me a working egr valve or refund me £171 out of the £804 i paid and my mechanic can adapt the engine. To then be told ‘well it didnt come with an egr valve’ missing the point though i didnt buy a ford engine! I tried to resolve this as amicable as possible and got no where. Now have contacted trading standards and done a charge back with the bank. It shouldnt have to be this way. The company should just have taken responsibility for their error and dealt with it professionally but they havent. Mores the point i brought and Peugeot partner engine with 61,000 miles on it. No idea how many miles this engine has on it 🤷🏻‍♀️ funny their reviews are also turned off.

I suggest i am contacted to resolve this otherwise it will get more costly because im not going anywhere and now i know my full rights with trading standards & that i am 100% protected it doesnt look good for you, as i said previously i am now loosing time and money. And if you was a reputable company you would have dealt with this immediately with a lot more of a professional standard to customer care.
