Nutracheck's food database is great for me. It's easy to find specific foods sold in UK supermarkets as well as basic ingredients.
Following a keto diet, I can programme target calorie intake along with my daily macros. I then track these throughout the day helping me to stay on target. I know what I need to eat/avoid to maintain ketosis.

I haven't a scooby do how it works.

It's down to me but it provides the framework and the structure and hence the motivation. Lots of shortcuts and data to keep you on track. When I have a few hundred calories of credit, its a crafty pint. And why not, you've got to live and that keeps you with the programme.

This app has been a god send.
After recently being told I needed to take statin to reduce my cholesterol, I chose this app to help me make better choices in order not to take statins. I have tried over the past six months to loose weight to no avail. I tried nutra check, It has been a game changer. I've lost 7lb in 4 weeks! The brilliant thing is you can instantly look at the nutritional value of every meal. It also has menus to try and a monthly magazine to find new recipes. Highly recommend it
I am able to keep track of everything, It is easy to find the calorific values of things as there is a huge database. And there are inspirational recipes to try.
So far I have lost two and a half kilos.
I will continue to use the app for maintenance when I reach my goal weight.
Found this app much better than the usual. Easy to use, easy to find products. Very inexpensive. Happy customer!
Brilliant way to keep track of your eating and nutrition. It’s motivated me to eat my 5 a day. I feel more energised and have lost 12lbs so far. Linking in with family members has been fun. Also the reduced monthly fee helped.

Excellent way to track food. Particularly good if sharing meals or recipes with another person — very easy to share. Huge database of foods, I particularly like the pictures that are linked to the ingredients.

It’s a great app. Needs little tweaks to make adding your own recipes and searching faster.
