Returned jeans on the 1st January. Parcel not arrived at NYDJ so I now have a further 10 working days wait while they investigate. A 5 week wait to see if I get refunded? Only wish I read reviews be... See more

Avoid! Returns/ Customer Services impossible!
If only I'd read the reviews before purchase! I have over the last few years bought several pairs of jeans from NYDJ with no need for Customer Services or returns. This time I need to return a pair. I have simply given up and written off £147. A free returns label was included with the order but you have to contact a courier company "collectplus.co.uk" to find the nearest drop off point. It doesn't work. Contacting NYDJ's Customer Services via their website (the only way to contact them) yields no reply. I have tried telephoning their European HQ in the Netherlands and the phone line gives a message in Dutch saying this line is unavailable. I can find no other means of contact and, after reading all these 1star reviews, I am giving up. I wonder if NYDJ has changed ownership or lost customer focus. They've certainly just lost one previously-faithful customer!
Buyer beware!!!
Ordered two pairs of jeans but didn’t like either. A note in the package said returns from UK are no longer free so it cost me £25 to return. No confirmation of return. No refund. No response from customer service. Phone line permanently busy. Buyer beware. Also now having a nightmare with courier company who dealt with return. Might have to involve my bank at this rate.
Order supposedly has been delivered but…
Order supposedly has been delivered but not to my address. Customer service not responding to emails. Cannot find a telephone number to call.
Love the jeans not so impressed with the customer service . Won’t be ordering again.
Jeans eventually delivered - to the next door house!
Love love love the jeans but..
my jeans are stuck in UPS warehouse. NYDJ gave UPS an incomplete address and the customer care email address is not responding to me. There is no other way of contacting NYDJ.
These people are a joke
These people are a joke. First they delayed delivery by over 3 weeks. I wrote to ask them to cancel it. They proceeded to then send it anyway. I returned one item at my cost ( there is no free return) and am still awaiting a refund six weeks later. Everytime I send an email they respond almost immediately saying there was some glitch and the return has now been processed and nothing happens. I am at my wit's end!
The answer to my prayers until....
The Alina Legging has been really the first pair of jeans I have been able to wear after losing weight and feeling a little more confident. I am in my sixties. But they looked so very good I could not believe it. I have treasured them, wearing for 'best', washing as little as possible and then only on the gentlest of cycles. It has been two years but I have hardly worn them regularly and then I suddenly noticed that they have become baggy at the front and the elasticity in the fabric seems to have collapsed. They can no longer be worn. I cannot say how disappointed I am.
Nothing "premium" about them.
Ordered two pairs of trousers. One I simply didn't like, which isn't the company's fault. The other cost £149.95 and were described as 'premium denim.' They are actually lightweight cotton that's made to look like denim and there's nothing premium about it. It's difficult to imagine how this fabric and cut incorporate their touted slimming technology because they simply hang on me. They also fit completely differently than the other 5 pairs of NYDJ jeans I own. And now I have to pay to return them. Not shopping here again.
Dreadful customer service
I will not purchase from this company, they are overpriced and it costs a fortune to return items to them. Along with the time almost a month waiting for my refund. When I asked where my refund was I was told by Kate to be patient. I have told them I will be charging them interest on my money. Don’t use them. They are dreadful!
I wish I had read these reviews before…
I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing expensive items from NYDJ. Sizing of jeans was very off and needed to be returned. Website and app clearly says returns are free by UPS and you are encouraged to use this service. I could find nothing about how to do this so I contacted Customer Services who said this was not available to UK residents who have to pay for tracked postage to The Netherlands. Helpfully they sent me a link on returns which stated it was free using UPS but this is not true. This is very misleading I would never have ordered from this company if I had know it would cost £14 to return a pair of jeans, I can remember seeing no information that they were based in Europe. Will never use them again, order from John Lewis if you want their clothing it’s not worth the expense of using their site. I will now always check the origin of orders and I assume that our consumer rights of poor representation does not apply to a company outside of the UK.
Huge jeans lead to expensive returns
I've bought these jeans from nydj.co.uk in style Marilyn for years. Last purchase of two pairs in usual size were huge even though other styles purchased at the same time fit ok and I haven't lost weight. NYDJ won't take any responsibility for the size change and tried to imply I had made an error with the order. Asked for photos of the labels from my old ones which I sent but they still won't refund the postage. Also since Brexit won't exchange only refund. As these come from Netherlands I have to return them tracked which is expensive and have I the faff of filling in a customs form. NEVER going to use this company again but will buy elsewhere eg John Lewis or Next.
Customer care refund experience
Hello. I got three blouses from NYDJ UK, each delivery cost me 5.95. One blouse was different colour ( on site is much brighter) I simply asked to provide me a free return label and had a huge investigation, providing a photos and numbers of emails. Just remember, they asking for 100% polyester blouse 109 pounds. I feel I was ignored and mistreated by customer care team.
Not Your Daughter's Jeans - Not for Me Jeans!
I was very interested when I spotted some N.Y.D.J.s in my local ladies' dress shop; I was with my husband at the time and it was just before Christmas 2012. They were pricy at £140.00 but my other half encouraged me to try them on and said he would buy me a pair for Christmas if they suited me.They fitted perfectly and my husband was happy because he was relieved of the problem of choosing my Christmas gift and I was happy because I would never have treated myself to a pair of jeans priced so high.
I wore the jeans only for "best" when "smart, casual" was called for and never about the house. In the eight months to the following August, I probably wore them 10 times, certainly no more. They were possibly washed very gently and on 30 degrees about 4 times, if that. In July of 2013, I felt that they were becoming loose but knew I hadn't lost weight; then in August we took my granddaughter on holiday and when I was reviewing the snaps on the computer I saw how truly baggy the jeans were. My husband had already noticed but chosen not to upset me by pointing it out!
I was going to alter them but the knees are particularly baggy so that option isn't open to me; nor can I take them back to the shop because of the time lapse. The company web site will not accept complaints after six months. About £14 per wear is really, really poor value for money!
