Mahirul was very helpful. I had my phone stolen and he promptly helped me get a new Sim and block the other one. He also took a look at my contract and recommended a cheaper deal. These are the reasons I’ve stayed with O2 for many years.

Door 102!
I attended Ludovico Einaudi's concert at The O2 last night and while Einaudi's performance was exceptional, the venue's management of audience access significantly detracted from what should have been a memorable evening.
The O2 let both the performer and the audience down in the way it controlled access through the arena doors during the performance.
Those seated in the accessible seating area, along with those in the surrounding seats closest to one of the entrance doors, had to endure an incredibly loud, high-pitched creaking noise every time the door was opened and closed. If this had happened only once or twice, it would have been a minor annoyance. Instead, people were allowed to enter and leave through this door continuously throughout the performance, not just between pieces. The result was that this distracting noise occurred what must have been well over a hundred times during the concert.
To make matters worse, throughout the performance audience members were permitted to walk to their seats while Einaudi was playing, repeatedly causing audience members to stand to let them pass. The constant movement, interruptions and squeaking door were hugely distracting and entirely at odds with the atmosphere that Einaudi's music creates. His performances rely on quiet, concentration and immersion, yet that atmosphere was repeatedly broken.
I find it astonishing that there appeared to be no attempt to manage this. If people cannot be prevented from leaving the auditorium during a performance, then at the very least they should be held at the entrance and only admitted between pieces. Alternatively, the faulty door should have at least been addressed immediately. Despite complaints being made to staff, nothing was done to reduce either the constant interruptions or the incessant squeaking of the door.
People pay a considerable amount of money to attend concerts at The O2 and artists such as Ludovico Einaudi deserve a venue that protects the integrity of their performances. On this occasion, The O2 failed both the performer and the audience sitting in that particular area. It is deeply disappointing that such basic audience management was overlooked and it had a significant impact on what should have been an unforgettable evening.
I would love to understand why audience access was managed in this way particularly those where silence and concentration are integral to the experience and please put some WD40 on door 102!

Dean was a legend. As someone who embarrassingly struggles with tech being in my mid thirties, he talked me through the set up of my phone and was great to chat to. Thanks Dean
