TERRIBLE quality
TERRIBLE quality. We ordered throw blankets and they were subpar. The blankets were falling apart as we opened them and were made from such cheap material. If I took them outside in the rain and it was drizzling I would think it would melt in my hand. The customer service is terrible too given things are "final sale". They also said the order was going to arrive in beginning of Feb (we ordered end of Nov). Also, we got sweaters from them and made from such cheap synthetic material. SAVE YOUR MONEY.Terrible experience with them and we are never going to buy from them again.

I can only assume this is a scam company. I received item and sent back for a smaller size. Never received product. No way to contact this bogus company. On-line chat proved to be bogus. No answer in ANY DEPARTMENT for the number listed on the charge on my credit card.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Both times I chatted in it took way too much time. I kept having to chat in because the website is so glitchy and nothing was working.. Had to wait for chat to get a return request.... and their return policy is HORRIBLE! In a time where you can't go in stores and try stuff on and then they only offer you STORE CREDIT for a return when something you ordered doesn't fit.
Don't buy here unless you really love the style
Bad return policy and poor quality for the price. I like their aesthetics, but the quality is quite bad, especially for the price. I bought an item on sale and tried to return it due to quality and it was rejected; final sale items are not marked clearly.
It might be worth it if you really like the style. But it was my first and last purchase here.

I personally don't go through the customer service online but do browse for potential purchases. Yes, the website needs extreme support and a better flowing system. DO go to a physical location and I recommend it highly. All purchases I've made in-store has been great but they can work on their refund policy.
No response to complaints
I ordered online. I received an email on April 2, 2023 advising
“Your order isn’t ready yet. We will send you another email once your order is ready for pickup.”
On April 12, 2023, I received an email that read “We have been informed by our Metrotown Team that your items set for in-store pickup at this location were not picked up. At this time, we have gone ahead and cancelled these items in your order.” They what? Cancelled my order?!?! I never even received an email advising that my order was ready for pick up! I was still waiting!! On the same day April 12, 2033, I emailed O+F & advised them of this. No response. I followed up on April 18, 2023. Still no response to date. Their customer service is awful! No longer shopping there because it’s obvious they don’t care about retention of customers. I sent another email on May 10, 2023 telling tysm that they have terrible customer service.
Disappointing customer service
I generally like the brand and their clothes. However, their in-store customer service is terrible. A couple of days ago I went to a store here in Ottawa to return few items from my online order. Today I checked my bank statement and noticed that instead of refund they actually charged me. I called the stored at 9:45am seeking some assistance and a shop assistant told me (without giving any apology for their mistake) that I have to come in in person to deal with this and then she proceeded to tell me that next time I call I should make sure to do so during their opening hours which start at 10am. I was shocked with her unnecessary response. Perhaps, they should do their job right so I don't have to call at all. So disappointing.
Overpriced aesthetic clothing
I have to add to some of the mixed reviews... Lovely aesthetic but extremely overpriced - you're better off waiting for the next sale. Quality is a hit or miss, but I've been content with the quality of the items I've received so far.
READ THE RETURN POLICY CLEARLY. Items on sale are not always marked as final sale, but any product with a 30% or more discount is automatically final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned. Shopping on their site can be difficult too because it's not always an accurate representation of in-store stock.

I had to go in-store to pick a regular price item that I don't even like. Yikes I don't like the esthetics of this brand. Many items are very large, eveb for size XS, not flattering at all.
If you pay close attention, you will find that the quality is subpar, not worth the price at all.

I have been in retail one way or another most of my life. Owner 13 stores, internation buyer, general manager and comercial design I completely understand retail on many levels. This transaction with Oak and Fort is out of control.
I purchased two handbags from the Park Royal location for my daughters birthday. The date was September 21st. I had to return them unopenned with tags to the store on Granville on October 13. They mistakingly charged my Mastercard again instead of refunding me. I didn't realize their mistake until I reconciled my credit card statements..So now they owe me a refund for the orginal purchase plus a refund on the second charge they made on October 13th. I have tried contacting the store and I have sent roughly 7 emails trying to get their accounting department to verify. They keep coming up with excuses of why they can't do that. Apparantly the head office is unable to to get involved because they said they only handle online purchases. In other emails they asked me for the transaction information with the last 4 numbers of the credit cards. I have sent them all of that information and now they are coming back AGAIN with we can't help you because we only help online purchaases We are going around in circles.I would say 'Stay way from this cmpany' they do not have control of their "point of purchase" sales in their retail stores.
Absolutely terrible customer service…
Terrible customer service and poor quality clothes. Wish I looked at more reviews before purchasing. They do not accept any returns or refunds even when they were not bought for a 30% discount. It is clear on their site that anything bought with a 30%+ discount is final sale. That is fair, but they do not follow through when there is no discount or even a 10% discount.

Oak and fort
Oak and fort’s clothing looks great online in pictures but in person the fabric or quality of the clothing is completely unexpected. Their clothes aren’t really durable and not the best quality and on top of that for sale items they either don’t offer refunds if the item was on sale for 30% or more which is still somewhat understandable but for the fact that they only offer store credit if the item was on a sale for less than 30%. From a store that I was not planning on purchasing from again, it’s not really useful but I guess it makes sense from a business perspective. It definitely put me off from oak and fort, and even after offering to give the clothes away for free to family members and friends none of them wanted them. One great quality was that there customer service responded very quickly.
