I've recently had complex eye surgery and was worried that it would be difficult to get the right glasses. Mr Arshad examined my eyes thoroughly and talked through the options with me. The glasses arrived after just one week and I'm delighted with my vision now. It's the best it's been for several years. All of the staff here are very friendly and professional. Than you.

Best opticians I've been to. Expert service, friendly and professional staff and no hard sell on frames or lenses as there is on the High Street. I'd always rather deal with an independent business and Oakes Opticians is top class. They don't have endless walls of frames either, which I prefer. Just a good and varied selection on style and price. Highly recommended.

I took my 82 year old Mum to Oakes for an eye test recently and cannot fault the staff at all. She felt very valued as a customer and everyone was so kind and patient, and she didn't feel rushed in making her glasses choice, which were then ready one week later for collection.
