This has been a very poor experience

This has been a very poor experience, mainly due to unclear billing practices and extremely disappointing customer support. The product itself also did not meet expectations for usability, which makes the billing and support experience even harder to accept.

Need help contacting Ocoya
I was double charged for a yearly subscription instead of monthly and have had no response from their support for two weeks. If anyone knows how to reach their team, please email. I urgently need the money back.
Thank you!

Charged $500 for Free Trial

I signed up for a free trial and was charged $500. Customer service has been horrible.

I am still trying to get my $ back, and was told "We'll reach out if we decide to refund you."

The software also incidentally does not work.

Billed after cancellation; core features failed; no refund or escalation

I canceled my Ocoya subscription on Aug 7, 2025 (timestamped proof). I was billed after cancellation. I even tried to use the paid period, but the basics didn’t work—scheduled posts never published and integrations failed.

Support experience: Maria acknowledged my cancellation and said she’d forward a refund, then repeatedly pointed me to the Terms instead of fixing non-delivery of service. After my deadline passed, Aivaras replied claiming a later “scheduled cancellation” and that U.S. law doesn’t apply—while ignoring standard card-network consumer rights and the simple fact that the product didn’t perform.

As of Sep 3, 2025, there’s no refund, no resolution, and no meaningful escalation. In my experience, this feels like pay first, excuses later. If you try them, document everything (cancellation proof, failed-post screenshots, charges)—you may need it for a dispute. Buyer beware.

An absolute scam

An absolute scam. Zero AI integration, just a planning tool that allows you to upload your content and reserve a posting time. Charged me twice, so now I have to go through a dispute process with credit card company to get my money back. Zero customer service. Absolutely not what it advertizes to be. An utter disgrace to the AI content creation community. Some searches reveal that the company is registered in Lithuania.
Avoid at all costs

Charged $758 Without Notice – No Refund, No Response

I was charged $758.40 USD by Ocoya on July 1st, 2025 for an annual subscription that I had already canceled during the free trial. I received no prior notice about the renewal, and the charge came as a complete surprise.

After contacting their support team and explaining the situation — including the fact that I had not used the service at all — I was denied a refund. Despite sending a follow-up email to clarify that I canceled during the trial period, I have received no response since then.

This kind of aggressive auto-renewal without proper notifications, combined with ignoring customer refund requests, is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious when trying Ocoya. Their "no refund" policy, even in good-faith cases like mine, is unacceptable for a modern SaaS business.

Abhorrent and insulting customer service

I canceled my subscription during the trial period because things would not connect and the platform was clunky. Something didn’t save properly and I was charged $1900 for the year! As soon as I saw I contacted customer service, and now I’m being REFUSED a refund. I’ve had to dispute the charge with my bank. Their messenger says typical reply within a few minutes but they take days. I’m now arguing with them for a second round of emails to get my money back. Oh and their customer service number IS A DEAD LINE! Absolutely horrible.

Not user-friendly & Not Useful Customer…

Not user-friendly & Not Useful Customer Service

Is all that I can say, I cancelled my account during the trial period, because even after several attempts to connect my Instagram and facebook, it was not possible to do so. And the customer service was not that helpful to sort out the issue either. I followed their guide, and even when doing so, still the profiles of facebook and Instagram would not end up being added to my account, so that I be able to setup automated posts that I create within my account.

DO NOT ORDER - SCAM

Ordered their product on May 2 at 12 PM. Seven day free trial. Canceled on May 9. Was charged anyway. Tried to contact them through their "chat". The chat literally said "Out of the office until Monday."(?) Contacted them via email to ask for a refund. Spent five days back-and-forth with zero resolution. Pretty sure the conversation was with an AI. Thank God I took screenshots of my purchase and screenshots of my cancellation. Forced to file fraud on this purchase through my bank. Now I have to wait two weeks to see my refund. DO NOT PURCHASE - SCAM.

On april 4th

On March 1st, 2025, you charged my #PayPalDispute #PayPal account $948 USD following a free trial that I was unable to cancel via your mobile platform.
You did not send any prior email warning or invoice, nor did you make the cancellation process clear or accessible.
This is in violation of Article 6 of the European Directive 2011/83/EU, which requires:

Clear and accessible cancellation conditions,

Transparent pre-contractual information,

Express consent before any payment is charged.

I am a single mother of two. Because of this unauthorized charge, I was evicted from my home, lost work opportunities, and have lived in financial and emotional distress for over a month.

Despite several messages and having provided all documentation (including a letter from my landlord), I’ve received no direct resolution, no refund, and no empathy.

I now demand:

Full refund of $948 USD

$2,000 USD in compensation for damages, including:

Housing loss

Psychological harm (documented stress and insomnia)

Loss of income and repeated efforts to recover this payment

If I do not receive a clear resolution from your team within 24h, I will move forward with:

Filing complaints with the #MEIC in Costa Rica,

Reporting your platform to #PHAROS and the #DGCCRF in France,

Publishing a detailed review of my experience on #Trustpilot, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

I sincerely hope this can be resolved directly and respectfully.
This is not just about money — it is about responsibility, legality, and dignity.

Sincerely,
Emilie V
