I am a very loyal customer with Olffactoryfactory for years. I recently received my package and the perfume top was broken off inside the sealed box and had leaked all over the box and was empty. I contacted them and even provided pictures . They told me since i did not take out their insurance its basically not their problem . NOT even offering a store credit or anything to make it right . It is not legal to not provide a refund or another bottle if the item was damaged insurance or not . I will never use them again and have told all my friends on FB groups on how they run their company

By opting out of shipping insurance, responsibility for transit-related damage is transferred to the carrier. However, despite the lack of shipping protection, we still took steps to assist by filing a claim with UPS on your behalf and are prepared to continue supporting you throughout the claims process.
We understand your frustration regarding the damaged item and appreciate the photos you provided. Our goal has never been to leave you without assistance, which is why we initiated the carrier claim as a courtesy and remain available to help with any updates or documentation required.
We also noted that a chargeback was filed for this order while the UPS claim process was ongoing. Chargebacks can negatively impact a merchant's standing with payment processors and often limit our ability to continue resolving issues through standard channels while the dispute is active.
We value your business and the support you have given us over the years. While we may not always be able to provide the resolution a customer hopes for, we strive to assist whenever possible.
