Nutty, small, fresh, hint of salt. More than enough for 5 guests. Excellent!
No "pop" to this type of caviar, which was a bit of a disappointment. That said, I don't have a good baseline for caviar, as I've only ever had it at a restaurant and never ordered it myself, so I was flying pretty blind with my order. It tastes great and it's rich and buttery. I also don't like it that the tins can't be closed tightly... press the lids on as hard as you want, but they don't bite onto the bottom part of the tin so if you'd try to pick the entire tin up by just grabbing onto the edges of the lid, you'll just lift the lid back off. Be warned... if you open it, I hope you're hungry for caviar!

We just had it last night at my older daughter’s…my younger daughter surprised me for my birthday coming in from California, I’m in Nebraska. What better time to have this…it was pure deliciousness!!!!! We loved it!!!!!!!

We have been buying the Hackleback caviar for a few years and we love it.
I have ordered this for our club and even the chef said it compared to the real Russian caviar and no one knew. Plus you can be very generous with portions.
