My mom's favorite. It is buttery and not as salty as OSETRA.
Was a little mushy, not a bad taste but the eggs were not solid, no Pop

Delivery was a day late and all the ice had melted already. Was the quality effected? Probably so. I like paddlefish caviar but this was a little "gummy:

We apologize for the carrier's delays. Unfortunately, this is something beyond our control. The order was packed to hold the temperature for up to 48 hours during summer. The melting of icepacks is normal while they absorb the heat. Please contact us directly next time to resolve delivery issues.
Disappointing caviar As soon as the package arrived by overnight shipment with two jars of caviar, I removed them & placed them in the rear of the bottom shelf of my fridge. I opened one jar several nights later and was very disappointed in the caviar. It had no "pop" when pressed against my hard palate with my tongue - it was soft & mushy, altho the flavor was satisfactory. I think the caviar must have been frozen and thawed at some point in time (but not in my fridge.) Part of the pleasure of caviar is the flavor release when the eggs pop in your mouth, & these did not.
For people who never tried caviar, paddlefish probably is ok, this "caviar very dry no taste, and price not for paddlefish, just in supermarket price around $18- $22 Red salmon caviar - like soup 20% watery, for $69 Peter Pan brand red caviar excellent quality you can buy 2 x 1pounds Not good, not sagest buying your product

Paddlefish is low-cost American caviar. We never had any complaints about the quality. I agree that alternative more expensive options tastes better but many find Paddlefish superior to other caviar types.

As good as it gets for American caviar
Great flavor and great as an affordable alternative to expensive imported caviar. Very comparable flavor and texture.
It was fishy not good like the last time we had it in August. We were disappointed this time. Wish I had instead gotten a bigger jar of the Russian.
