Do not order on this website.

I have requested a repair for an M.Zuiko Digital 14-42 mm 1:3.5-5.6 lens. The website offered me a repair for 150 euros and asked me to pay. It's been a week since the payment was debited from my bank account, and I haven't received any confirmation email or invoice. I received an email to apologize three days later telling me about a bug on the website but my order remains without any receipt, references or any proposal for sending the lens to the repair shop. I've never had such an experience with an online retailer and I'm beginning to think that it's a fraud, given the lack of professionalism. I would therefore highly recommend to not order on this website.

OMDS shifts operational risk on customers

9 years OMD user here. Ordered an E-M1ii kit from the Norwegian OMDS store. The promised delivery time upon ordering was 3-4 days. After a week, I contacted customer service; after several emails back and forth, they told me to wait. After three weeks had passed and the shipping status hadn't changed, I contacted customer service again. After several emails, I was told that UPS had lost the parcel. Seriously, I have to invest my time and effort and chase OMDS for weeks to find out about this? Does OMDS have so little communication with and control over their service providers? They offered me to ship a replacement "at once" (wow), but refused any sort of compensation for the current order (arguing the error had been UPS's fault). Here's a thing: My order was placed with OMDS, not UPS, and I thus expect OMDS to compensate me for the experienced inconvenience, instead of shifting their operational risk onto me, the customer. Incredibly, they didn't even agree to include the promotion available by that time for *new* orders of the same kit at the same price (i.e., a free 30mm macro lens). I'm at a loss here; OMDS really seems intent on losing the few remaining customers in the shrinking camera market.

Missing cashback

I bought a fairly expensive Olympus lens over two months ago on the basis Olympus would give me £150 cashback. As soon as it arrived (10 Dec) I applied to Olympus for the cashback. They accepted it as valid and said they'd pay me way in the future, 21 Jan 2021. But that date has long gone and my enquiries have gone unanswered. Surely this is a breach of UK consumer law?

Quite good and not that costly cameras

Quite good and not that costly cameras, I have bought something from them like 10 years ago and it really wasn't any problem with that. I have to sold the device but it's simply cause I wasn't in need anymore and that is the whole reason. Recommended.

good service, and trusted quality, i like offers they are making, as well as a product design, I am looking forward to try olympus omd e10 III. I hope I will have a good experience worth paying money.
